KOLINE "FUREŽ" - is an old slovenian tradition of pig slaughter and processing of meat. It is a family event like and after the harvest of grapes "trgatev", wherein family gathers and help in making homemade sausages. First, we hired butcher to do the cutting of meat... then family members making many kinds of delicacies made of it. From various blood sausages, sausages for baking/cooking & drying, bacon jam/spread..and stocking for our own consumptions.
Every year right after grapes harvesting we do 'koline' - a very interesting experience/ family tradition here in Slovenia.
