Starting up my 30 year old homelite xl chainsaw

this thing is 30 years old and still runs like new. dont usually get that from todays throw away engines. Yes I know that was the muffler area I sprayed the starting fluid. I meant to say muffler not intake. But hush it worked. So explain that to me you backdoor mechanics. Hadn't ran for 10 years would not start. Then a little squirt and it fired right up. Hmm must work. Give it a try, it's not a car and the exhaust comes straight from the spark. Seen this trick on another video from someone else.
