Thank you CopsTV, this is one I had not seen before. For those checking off a watched list, this show is s17e27 Coast to Coast #76, aired April 30, 2005
As a Lakewood, WA resident for 50 years, it always warms my heart to see local folk on prime time tv. Watching COPS every Saturday night as it premiered was our thing starting in 87 and carried on for decades, but every once in a while I'll see an episode on YT or a repeat on tv that I either don't remember or missed altogether. And in that almost 40 year timeframe, I only saw one person on the show that I knew.
The police work showcased here is a testament to the challenges officers face daily, handling everything from minor incidents to life-threatening situations
The swift actions of the officers in this episode highlight the importance of law enforcement in maintaining public safety, even in high-risk situations
@@mudPuddlePanda I agree he would've been better off keeping his mouth shut, a small amount of marijuana wasn't an arrestable offense back in the mid 2000's.
@@Doobie1975it definitely was! If you watch most episodes of cops of people getting caught with weed they were automatically arrested which was waste of time when it's a plant ☘️

it must be something in the contracts they sign.. AND they get taxed like a business, and you know that is the real reason the government wants to control these types of situations
Did you pay her to have sex with you and then filmed it? Then you broke the law. If you have other people pay to watch you have sex there’s no issue. Is it weird and lead to the same results of women selling their bodies for money? Yes but there is a distinction.
"you did your best to get out of the way?" ....are you freaking kidding me with that question??? NO, he intentionally swerved into the criminal fleeing police in a high speed chase!
Trying to escape cops in a white t-shirt; blue cut off shorts, & exposed red boxers - wtf, how'd such an intelligent escape plan get foiled so quickly?
Important safety tip If you pick up a hooked do not say anything. The only way for the cops to arrest you is for you to admit it. Answer no questions and they have to let you go
@@jamedlock83he is right but wrong. If you don't say anything then they can't charge you, but the transfer of money pretty much makes it a charge. I guess if you don't technically say out loud "I'll give you this for that" then you might be safer but idk it's a grey area.
How 'bout not picking up hookers. How is the first guy charged with resisting arrest when he wasn't placed under arrest until they had detained him first, which at the point he was compliant
That's pretty stupid of the guy on a motorcycle running from the police at that speed thinking he was going to get away. Instead he ended up fighting for his life. Hopefully next he wouldn't be that stupid and he makes a full recovery from his accident.
I feel sorry for the guy that ran from the police with that motorcycle. He was dead on the scene, but the paramedics brought him back to life. He still going to jail though with all those stack of charges.
"We've got COPS film crew coming to town, lets get mike taser certified" "We dont have a holster yet" "Thats okay just put it in your back pocket, people will love it"
the holster was still in the mail 🐢
I think mike put a extra teaser gun in his back pocket

The taser was made for this show. They should do a taser special 🚨

Thank you
thank you very much for the additional infos
The squad car computer in beginning is ANCIENT
LMAO. I was checking if it was an Atari😂
@ it’s actually probably older than that. I’m not joking either
Filmed in 2004, using communications equipment from 1988
@ The computer could even be older.
Yes
Even the criminals behave better when these were filmed..
But what are they look like when they aren’t rolling
back before everyone was soft, and their wasn't really a thing as the exaggerated "outrage" that shitfit people pull these days
💯💯🤣

“I didn’t see you coming”
*runs from cop to avoid being caught & admits he saw said cop*
Season 17. One of my favorites. Please keep these full episodes coming
What the funny part is that the Suspect runs away then asked what they did wrong when they already knew what they did wrong lol
“What did I do?” Sounds weird after crawling out window and running 🏃🏾♀️ 😂

Cops are coward thugs
2:02 cop putting the taser in his back pocket lol
these are always funny asf and the way they're filmed reminds me of Trailer Park Boys
Those doctors are going to have to put that last guy back together.

"It's Ma'am!!"

Damn it hurt to see that guy get locked up for a damn joint and paraphernalia. Glad that doesn't happen in most places now.
Arrested for mmj how sad"
If he had MMJ he would have been fine. The first M stands for Medical. Either way it’s bullshit. The dude has less than an eighth of weed on him.
15:00 why tf is this cop getting off to this chase 😂
They can’t cite him for driving without a license if they didn’t see him with their own eyes.
He admitted to driving. Do not talk to police
Yes they can if theres witnesses to a crash
"Put your hands behind your back or I'm going to taze this lawn again!"

😂😂😂😂 bet the biker wont do that's again. Hes lucky
Who knows if he even survived after that...either way he probably isn't riding again.
