- The city slickers tried to 'Git Up', but no one throws down like a North Queenslander! Congratulations to our Emergency Department team who practised before and after work to pull this brilliant dance together.

It was a great location (and all cleared beforehand)! The staff performed the dance after their night shift had ended so having the sun rise behind them was an excellent bonus.

As a nurse, how did you find time? I loved it. Nurses can have fun too. The poor lone guy was embarrassed but you guys did great.
Hi Bonnie, the crew practised before and after work and, to their credit, completed this after they finished nightshift at 6AM in the morning!

Hi there, we're unsure if you can see this but the video was posted Sep 24, 2019 after the staff had finished their shift and a new shift had started. This was WELL before the pandemic, so our staff were more than safe.
I just don't understand how they would even have time for this. If COVID is soooo bad

So, we are told that loads of people are dying, hospitals are full, and medical staff can hardly keep up ..but somehow, they find the time to make videos like this?? They sure do seem happy and carefree about the whole situation. Nobody looks tired or stressed out. You don't get the impression that, in all those rooms that the camera doesn't show us, there are patients dying of a horrible disease. If having a pandemic is so wonderful, maybe we should have more of them. It sure does a world of good for these nurses.
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to comment. Our Emergency Department team practiced before and after work to pull this brilliant dance together. The filming was done AFTER they had finished night shift at 6AM. This was also filmed WELL BEFORE the pandemic. On top of this, our doctors and nurses do experience stress, like everyone does in each individual job, that is why team building exercises like this are great as they allow them to come together and have fun amidst the stress of their job. They come together as a team for emergencies and also come together as a team to relax together.

In the beginning I thought of my cousin how she did my X-ray and I saw her ex I gave him the finger she laugh he said u told her she said yup he said dam then she told me ok be nice we got back together I was so embarrassed I said sorry of course he said it’s ok. I deserved that he forgave me he actually became nice I saw them last time I was in hospital for a Spain ankle

You can smell the nurses egos through the screen. Yeah years later and the pandemic was bull sh!t. Such a “ deadly “ disease. Our hospitals were empty so was yours and so many others. Y’all know there was janitors in hospitals too right? They saw it completely differently and how lazy the nurses were. What a joke
