Hi Rocky, I'm not sure which switch you are referring to. Can you be more spcific? Or just go to the AutomationDirect website where you will find full documentation on all of these: www.automationdirect.com.

If you are looking for switches with the shortest arm/throw - then take a look at the "Precision Limit Switches" at www.automationdirect.com. They have a 1.5mm plunger.
Regardless, all of these limit switches are just dry contact mechanical switches. The ones with rotating arms just have a cam that rotates and depresses a switch.
