This ost brings me nostalgia, now when I play Danball Senki Wars I no longer listen to it so much, but when I listen to it I get excited and it reminds me of my experiences with the three games in the Danball Senki saga.
I am a bit sad that this is not Lex's theme (1st part) it potrayed his character almost perfectly: sad and heart breaking, slow pacing. Lex works with the MC but his true intention remained the dark until the final arc

My first time playing through LBX, I never really paid the music much mind. I thought it was good, but nothing special. Then I fought the final boss, and right around 1:22, I thought to myself "Wow, this song is pretty good." When I listened more closely to the soundtrack overall on repeat playthroughs, I started noticing the use of leitmotif, and it started to dawn on me that this soundtrack is nothing short of an underrated gem, buried by the obscurity of the franchise particularly outside of Japan. This was further cemented when I learned that the composer was Rei Kondoh, who did work on such better-known masterpieces as Ōkami and modern Fire Emblem. This may be the most overlooked franchise he's worked on, and I hope he knows that there are people who appreciate his work on it.

Westerners had the series know as Little Battlers eXperience (LBX). America didn't have this soundtrack however, Europe and Hong Kong versions did. I watched the original Japanese version myself. This series is special to me.
Don't get me wrong, I watched the english dubbed version of LBX and it has some strengths and weaknesses. But, after watching Danball Senki, I think I prefer the Japanese version. Ban and the rest of cast of characters, the world builing, the conflict and its subtle dark themes are very unique and dynamic in a way that the Danball Senki franchise is worth wachting and playing. If Akihiro Hino and Level 5 never hold back Danball Senki, things would have turn out differently.

皆がまだダンボール戦機を忘れてなくて良かったです…あの名作は忘れてはならない。個人的には平成アニメの代表として歴史の教科書に載ってもいいぐらいの作品でした。そしてLEVEL-5はいい加減に続編をきちんと作れるようにしろ。なんだよ装甲娘って、ダンボール戦機はあの世界観が良いんだよ、ロボットのデザインが良いんだよ、なんでもかんでも世界観を一気に引っくるめるなよ。妖怪ウォッチもオワコン化してるのに、まだ気づかないのか？あのままが良いんだと。LEVEL-5には呆れた…直接言っても聞いてくれない。だからもうLEVEL-5には期待しない。ダンボール戦機を復活させない限り、LEVEL-5のアンチ活動を行う。そうでもしないとあのゴミ会社は気づかないだろうから。
