I have been watching your vlog for several years. My significant other of 37 years passed almost 2 years ago from early onset dementia. Melissa had epilepsy starting in childhood (absence seizures only), with grand mals starting at age 30. Melissa went through the usual "throw it up against the wall" of changing/trying different meds and hundreds of doctor and ER visits. I have pledged my estate to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, MO, to help finance a new epilepsy research department. Barnes/Washington University, is one of the leading hospitals in the US. Hoping new treatments and perhaps a cure will be found here. Wishing your son and you all the best; epilepsy is a very hard road for both the patient and the caregiver (s).
I'm so sorry there is so, so much on your plate. I can sympathize with the executor stress after watching my Mom go through the process. So many layers of frustration and confusion - it's such a tough process efen when its supposed to be "simple" (my mom was the executor and only beneficiary). Sending all the good vibes to all of you and I hope things settle with Thomas' seizures ❤️ Always appreciate your realness of all the emotions. Life has been a rollercoaster the last few years.
not clustered and usually there is no trigger although we are realizing they happen more often if he hasn't slept well the night before. Puberty is a big culprit with fluctuating hormones.
So sorry. That is the last thing Thomas needs to be added to his “plate”, let alone to yours! To future Mare, an executor talk would be welcomed! 👍🏼♥️🇨🇦

I've been an executor (without 2 businesses, a child, etc.) and can empathize with that frustration. Sending you love!
Yes! sending you love right back
Are Thomas seizures usually clustered and can you ever anticipate when one might coming?
