Blizzard has *got* to do something about these scuffed layers. There is nothing more annoying than being in a group with people and not being able to play or interact with them.

Most likely the paladin was in combat the whole time and that is why it never changed layer. It has always worked this way.
I've been playing wow for years and never have I seen that many mobs get pulled outta DM. The fact 3 people survived is both incredibly impressive and insanity
