  • An underlying contact is a geological structure (layer, fault...) that is not directly crossed in the line of your cross section, because is not outcropping in surface. Nevertheless, it must appear in your cross section in order to fully solve and understand the geological structure. This short tutorial shows you how to find and draw an underlying contact. I apologize for the qualitiy of the videorecord, but my 11 years old video assistant did his best :-)
