i still use winamp. its plugin community is also alive.
with some plugins, wunamp can be brought to modern standard, even outclassing many players vastly:

I love winamp. I only wish there was better vst support for its host bridge. It is less responsive to some plugins and some of them dont work at all. Would love 64 bit support. I can only get a few old plugins to work. I have used winamp for years. THANKS FOR WINAMP !!!!!!!!!! AlgorVerb and The Gmulti Compressor are the best vsts I can get to work.

I actually don't have a great answer for you, but I believe you would have to change the tag. You do that by left clicking on the song in the playlist and typing in the name in the field for name. A lot of work for a big playlist. Maybe someone else out there has a better answer? Sorry I don't a better answer for you. Thanks for watching and take care.

Yea but where can you get winamp skins? I mean the winamp skin museum only allows you to look and use it but you cannot get the skins. I tried downloading it and it just saved all the readme and pictures and I could not get it to upload. The official winamp site I used to get skins is being updated and worked on so you cannot access it. Is there another place to get winamp skins? I cannot find one.
I google and found a number of sites. This one is probably the best one, and it allows you to download the skins: www.winampskins.info/0-9/.
Can you plz tell me can you add your own images and pictures with a logo emblem in the middle where u can put a pic of any image ?
I'm not sure If I understand what you are asking. Do you mean the logo for a song? If that's what you mean, I don't believe they can be changed. If that isn't what you are asking, please clarify, OK?

Which version of Winamp had all the skins available already? I don't remember what version i had been using.
I don't know of any version that already had all skins already available, but you would probably need Winamp full version. There is a new version out now that is stable, here is a link where you can download it: www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/winamp_5_full.html. Is there an option to speed up playback speed 2x???
There is no option in Winamp to speed up playback, but there are plugins you can use. See: forums.shoutcast.com/showthread.php?t=236033 or techshift.net/how-do-i-change-playback-speed-in-winamp/ and www.surina.net/pacemaker/doc/index.html. Hopefully this helps you. Take care.

I love Winamp…only player I have ever. Used…only one thing..i can play a few songs then it’s stops..I need searching and can’t fine anything…
