Not only was Minshew a galvinizing force in the locker room and on the field, but this WSU team also had 3 or 4 NFL receivers, a really good set of pass catching running backs (Borghi gets compared to McCaffery, the latter of which shouted out Borghi on twitter,) an NFL safety (who has picked off Mahomes,) 2 NFL linemen (and one XFL), a fifth year linebacker who set the school record for tackles, and an amazing coach that put it all together. Some of the knocks on him are: 1. Size I think we’ve seen enough from guys like Wilson, Brees, Mayfield, and even Kyler Murray that size really isn’t a huge concern anymore. I think he can be great at 6”0! 2. Strong Arm He looked like he had a pretty damn good arm a lot in this vid! Obviously he’s not Josh Allen or Drew Lock but still! 3. "Slow" By the looks of this he has quite a decent pair of wheels on him and has a bit of speed to outrun some defenders to me 4. Handling Pressure He handled it great tons of times in this! 5. His Offensive Scheme Playing in an Air Raid System teams have some concerns if he’ll acclimate well to the NFL but the Jags seem to be shifting to more of an 60-40 pass to run Offense, so I think he’ll adjust well in that imo Also. He was VERY productive (partially due to the Air Raid system but still), you don’t just have a 70% completion rate and have a 38-9 TD-INT ratio on a whim! He’s also got some mobility to him, faced good competition in the PAC 12, has a great personality and passion for the game from what I’ve heard/seen, and makes really great passes as this reel shows! I go to the middle school that he went to, if he had an O line like we have now maybe he would be better but i know that he used to get destroyed if he couldnt get the ball to one of his many talented recievers every single one of the O linemen on our team are 6,2+ 250 lbs+ me included and 13-14 in age i know at least 2 of us are playing in college as our center did a 315 pound squat and our guards both were working together using 350 lbs I only did 275 but eh ill be okay
