The t-55's are so cheap they don't need mine plows 😄
Had this set in my crossairs, good start for East Germans, the t-72 one as well.

Also finally a team yankee video. I fell asleep twice, because I really wanted to watch this, but it was just to late after a long day of work.
Boyevaya Mashina Pyekhoty 1 (in Latin letters, I assume Cyrillic would not help), meaning "infantry fighting vehicle, 1"
Another little side note on the BMP-2 , the east German army had around 24 in 1990, later 15 of those were handed over to the USA, after the Bundeswehr had evaluated the vehicle (using it was impossible due to the low numbers, unlike the bmp1, which was upgraded for use in the territorial army).
The T-62 is still only a lengthened T-55, to mount the bigger gun, other wise it's pretty much the same. The huge step forward was the T64 and T72.
Also the Russian tended to recruit short people for their tankers (around 160cm), so by that standard the size difference of the infantry compared to the tank commander is kinda accurate...

HEAT on the BMP-1 can be a drawback when going up against Bradley’s or other NATO vehicles with Appliqué or Chobham. In those cases you might have more luck with the BMP-2’s 30mm autocannon

You might be right, but at the points cost - they're all but free...

The East Germans have a Heavy Weapons SKU with AGS17, Spigot, Gremlin and PKM.
But I skipped the one and got the T-72B Battalion instead which I think is the better deal, can add infantry to that with a couple of BTR-60 boxes and a Mot-Schutzen blister.

I don't think the PKM come in ANY of the blisters though. As far as I can see you HAVE to buy the bix infantry boxes to get those.

@@ModellingforAdvantage Ahh you're right, I just checked the one I have. You need the whole Mot Schutzen Kompanie box... just to get 2 PKM stands.

    Do you ship to Canada?

Sadly we don't. It costs far more to post overseas than you might think and is a lot more problematic with customs issues and such. We are just too small a business to make it worthwhile.

Send it to Ukraine. At least then they get stuff they know how to use. :D

It's laughable to cloud this with the trappings of military blurb - all the time this game mitigates toward unrealistic tactics -- arbitrary statistics, it's a game not war simulator which you will learn any military lessons, What's with all the tank clumps ? doesn't seem realistic , vehicles riving around bumper to bumper - no tactical awareness, point blank battlefields , models are nice but the rules are just a game. It's a game , not war simulation, 'seems like it would not simulate what ww3 would look like ?
so you buy the rules but you don't get the stats for the equipment used in the game unless you buy the TY products in which case you get descriptive cards.

It absolutely is just a game - based on a fictional novel no less. There are games which are much better 'simulations' but they are dull and take forever to play - they also end up being poor simulations too. Ultimately, I like playing games with nice tank models.
