The difference in feeling after the siren between this and the 2009 prelim is very eerie. When they won in 2009 it was a huge celebration, almost premiership-esque. This time around there are no smiles, just handshakes, all business. That 2009 Grand Final is lurking in the minds of each and every Saint out there, and you can feel it.
Like ross' teams- they play a hard brand, it takes its toll. Freo found the same. Freo became a machine of a team along with this era of stk. It just takes it out of ya. Both teams shoulda won a flag... but thats life eh?
