I've always had a soft spot for the ANH variant, but I really like your ESB build too. Just like on the RPF, I still really like the way you hid the sound holes! *I also totally just noticed that you also reshaped the trigger + hammer. It definitely helps to de-Denix the look of it!*
Awesome blaster. I wish Hasbro or even Rubies would make a ESB blaster for the budget conscious customer. Hopefully with Episode VII coming we will get some really cool role play stuff from the Original Trilogy and the new film in that era.
That is absolutely beautiful work! I'm currently gathering parts for an ESB blaster. I'll probably be doing a bit of a hybrid of the Hoth/Bespin as well because I'm not concerned with screen accuracy as much as having the details I really like. Would you be open to doing another build?
Thanks! Certainly. I am actually working on an ANH hero for a commission withe electronics right now. Should finish in the next week or so. But yes, I will take on another. Message me your email and we can talk about it.
woahh...great work!!! I am trying to make a DL 44 but cant get any dimensions at all. saw your video and the cutting map square but still can't get reference. do u have any dimensions that I can have to built it up from scratch?
+scottjua Lol homie this aint a DL-44 its a model 57 blaster, they had to swap the original props cause shit kept getting stolen on set, so by continuity error it got declared as a short scoped DL-44.
Where did you get the parts? I'd like to build myself one but the parts seem rather expensive. At least from here www.blast-tech.com/products_mausersAcc.asp
Edward Medina Well, you gotta watch the video. Blast-tech doesn't really offer much anymore, which is too bad, because they actually weren't that bad compared to others. There is a run of parts being made over in the RPF, but I suspect they will even be more expensive.
pretty much have to take it all apart. The Denix is simple. Just punch the few pins out and it comes apart. There's also one screw under the base of the barrel. But you just remove those pins, and put them back in later to keep it all together. It's very sturdy and tight.

Woo very nice work my friend did you strip the gun down to do the work on the inside . If so I would love to know how to this ;)
This is brilliant work....
How do I commission you to do the same for me ??
Amazing looking blaster!!

How did you mount the flash hider? I see no set screw like in the Greedo Killer version.
Nice! Though Han's blaster didn't have a silver nozzle.
Oh really? www.uniquecanes.com/HansSoloESBpic.jpg

My bad! Not the Empire Strikes Back but A New Hope where it was black. :P

Do those Blaster Core soundboards come with ONLY blaster sounds and no talking? It just seems corny for the gun to talk.
It also comes with just the blaster sounds. Scott added those lines using the same sound font but in a different folder.
How much dues is it
I would love one of these!! How much? How long?
Roughly $800+/- all in. Take me about a few weeks once I get to it, but I'm backed up for the duration of summer and into fall.
where did you buy the flash hider?
I think this one was evolution props from ebay
AWSOME!!!
I would like to have you build me 1 if at all possible?
T.W. can do. Message me at crucible custom props Facebook page. We'll work it out.
So it's a real Mauser C96 and you put the electronic?
It's a denix replica
How much for the ANH version?
Depends on static vs. sound. It ranges, ask depending on if we can even get parts for it.
Hi Scott, great work there!! Do you have an email address I could contact you on? I think you're on Facebook, but I'm not.
That scope is a fair bit off.
