I only read about five books this week but 2 of them were noteworthy. The first one was The DM Diaries by Teagan Hunter. The second one that was really good was I Won't Be In On Monday by JS Cooper. I read an ARC for this one and absolutely loved it!
I can't wait to read Love in a time of a Zombie Apocalypse. I was going to read it for the readathon but then decided to read On the Nature of Daylight and it's sequel: This Bitter Earth. The first one was amazing and definitely recommend. The sequel was good, but dragged on waaay too long to be a top-tier (for me). And the unhappiness/angst ratio to the HEA was severely skewed (at least for This Bitter Earth).
Jenn, I want to thank so much for sharing the TW. I am going to listen to it but I need to prepare myself first. I lost my 17-yr old to 3 different malignant brain tumors 6yrs ago. He was the youngest of my 4 boys. Have a great weekend!
I’m usually not a big holiday romance fan but this year I’ve been FERAL for it lol especially alien holiday romance … I just read Rudi by Honey Phillips n it just was amazing, it was so cute n such a good rudolf retelling!
Thanks Jen. Always great work. ❤️💚I read Forgive Me for My Sins. It has some cool stuff in that story. The priest is suppose to be highly educated and an accomplished businessman but you couldn’t convince me. His dialogue is silly. It was enough of an annoyance that I felt reluctant to give Angel Anders a second chance. 🦃🦃Happy Thanksgiving. Take care.
I like hearing your opinions on books and have a “happy customer suggestion”: I wish you edited the videos to cut out the awkward bits like when you had to fix your nail, or in other videos when you yawn mid sentence or get distracted and there is dead air. I’ll keep watching, I’ve watched for almost 3yrs now, but it would make for a smoother watch experience.
Thats fair points. I'll tell ya, I absolutely DO cut those out. 😅😅 So I really apologize if I miss them here or there That's why there is "dead air" around a yawn. Because I try to catch it by leaving space around it. Or I wave my hand in front of my face so I can catch it when scrolling through the edit. I *hate* when I miss those. So... it definitely doesn't hurt my feelings to have it pointed out. But also... if it's in there... it's an editing error. Not me just not caring. 😅🤷♀️ I'm sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for sticking around. ❤️😉
What was your favorite read this week?

Even though the plot sounds extremely bonkers, I’m interested in reading Vows of a Mobster, mainly because I love the narrators.
They are worth it for sure.
I've read more bonkers books before. Haha!
