Probably buffing Supports, then buffing dps to compensate for heals, then buffing tanks coz they're too strong, repeat cycle until you get bored

For the love of god please add comp point rewards at the end of the season. No reason they make ot harder to get gm/champ but take away all the rewards. High rank queue times are longer so we get less games played per gaming session. Or at least bring back 25 point per win. Grinding comp points is miserable
Points are given for every win you get per game? Not sure what the argument is about not getting it if you’re getting it for every game you win.
@@fireblitz3438 I'm mainly complaining about end of season rewards. But you get 5 points or something at the end of a match. It used to be 25 at the end of a win
They should’ve just increased piledrive damage instead of the lockout tbh. I feel like people are gonna get annoyed by it enough to make counterswapping even MORE obnoxious when playing as Ball

That's what I'm thinking- I don't typically play supports with CC, but if Ball becomes both common and effective I'm just gonna counterswap which is gonna be less fun for everyone

If the game puts you on the stronger team when you're on a losing streak you will lose even more percentage if you don't win because of the reversal modifier.
Yeah but that's a good thing. If you still can't win after three games of being placed on the expected team then you probably don't belong in the rank you're in, or you probably shouldn't be playing comp without taking a break.
Does the passive health gain change make it so that all hero’s will passive heal from 1hp to full in the same amount of time?
I’m fairly new to the game only really got into it during overwatch 2, so I have shitty map sense,I barely know where health packs are and I’m only really good with a couple of hero’s so I don’t know if the pressure modifier was a known thing but I’m glad they’re revealing it sometimes I get into games and it’s hell now I know why 😂
The brig change was also in the april fools mode lol.

@@EJHardyThat buff actually gives her a kill combo now. Melee > Bash >Rally > Bash > Melee > Whip = 250 damage
Last 2 hits are free basically because stun and you can animation cancel Melee into Whip very quickly
I am surprised there weren’t some other changes to the other tanks in this patch such as hog and Mauga considering how well they’re doing overall across the board and I honestly expected nerfs to them this patch. The other one is the fact brig was the only support to get changes when others like Kiri and Mercy need some changes as well.
That said, this is a decent patch but i think going forward they should be looking to make changes that are less “suffocating” for the overall game such as Kiri’s cleanse not having a tangible hitbox (which btw, I hate going through them when cleanse is used) and/or adding other types of unnecessary damage mitigation abilities that hurt the game’s health.
Hogs ult against other tanks now is insanely good. I’m hoping they don’t nerf but I expect it.

The Dragon buff has its upsides and downsides. It's not as good for zoning as it used to be, but it's better at solo ulting annoying players.
We Hanzo mains however couldn't care less about the power of the ultimate. We want our hero to be viable within his base kit. Even if Dragon somehow winds up to be better, Hanzo is still a trash hero and needs a Mercy pocket to function 98% of the time. That other 2% is when you're simply that much better than the enemy team, that you could destroy them no matter what hero you're on.

I had so much hope for these changes, and how foolish I was. I couldn't give a damn less about dragon, I honestly thought it was just fine as it was. Was it a relatively weak ultimate? Sure, but Hanzo himself had a strong base kit, fair trade off. Now our base kit is fucking useless, and this dragon buff honestly won't be that large of a difference.
5 damage blizzard. 5 fucking damage. That's all we need.
okay so nothing about how i can be on a win streak (solo q so no wide match making) win a game be expected and only gain 1% or no win streak or expected and win and gain like 4% sometimes its like the game just dont wanna be played (im low dia so the pressure competitive thing should not really be in that much of an effect)

I played the game with patch notes and it feels honestly the exact same (I’m on the higher ranked side)
Yeah that's what I was saying for the most part it alleviates some stress on the tank side but makes them in some cases easier to deal with due to bigger damage bursts eating through armor so a lot of abilities straight up chew through armor vs just raw primary damage

For what reason they buff the life of every hero and now buff the dmg of heros in every patch? So it's the same like before they buffed the heal....

Junkrat is still probably the worst hero in the game, I think now he's on par with reaper for worst though
Honestly I feel like they could just tighten his spread to make him better vs smaller targets and help a lil with tanks so he can land more headshots

Im pretty sure we hanzo players just got nerfed. Our dragon doesnt do more damage, it just disapears faster ultimately creating less space.
i'm pretty sure that increase in speed will make it so most characters can't just walk out of it if they're in the center and suprised by it like before, even slow characters could just walk out of it... now it may actually be a good kill shot instead of the meme its become when it actually manages to kill someone

All i want for the next patch is a Reaper rework or buff, he is my main and already is terrible to play in plat and diamond lobbies and he's gonna be left in the dust now with these tank and armor changes 😢😢

Bro is really begging for Reaper buffs in the comments of every content creator who covered the patch in a video.
He has a niche in rush comps, but even then if they did the April Fools shotgun changes, he would be fine, maybe strong.
Honestly I don't think he needs much maybe just swap his guns to slugs like in the trailer and he'd be far better

Everyone freaking out in chat over "losers queue" being real clearly didnt read the patch notes properly. At no point in it does it give evidence suggesting that player who are on a loss streak are forced into the team w/ the higher chance of loosing. All its saying is in the future it will try to "avoid" putting you into that same group if your on a loss streak. Basically as an oversimplification instead of 50/50 being on the expected loosing team side, its now much less likely.
yeah its just a standard streak controller to help the human in the system deal with less of a crappy experience is all... and its kind of nothing more than that

Because they are angry they can't sit in one spot shooting the enemy tank as 76 and play with one hand while eating cheese curls and drinking Gfuel
Nobody likes losing to characters they feel are cheap, Mauga is hard to get value with anywhere above Gold yet people still complain about him since they can't admit the players actually good at the game

Yeah the health and boop changes might be nice for ball - But his damaged is gonna be HEAVILY nerfed by armor now. The lockout changes are good bc now he gets an extra FRACTION of a second to do damage. It's a fine change, quit gaslighting.

you shouldn't be shooting tanks anyway as Ball and the slam/boop will break the armour on all the squishy targets before you even shoot them.

The wide group addition for season 10 has been TERRIBLE. I tried to play with a friend in comp who has not placed since the rank reset. They were high plat in season 7 or 8. I think I was there at 6 or 7. We both recently switched to PC and figured we would duo while I tried to complete my last four placement matches. He had not played any at that point. It put us in a wide group and took 15 min to find a game. I played a solo game about 30 min later and it was less than 3 min. With the rank reset and neither of us doing our placements there isn't any reason that wide group should have been a thing.
Boys, were that much closer to getting 6v6.

Still no rein buff. As a rein main it’s hard to get complete value. Though I could just be complaining because I typically dominate anyways

The armour changes and the knockback resistance massively benefits him
Actually the armor change and headshot reduction are both great buffs for him
Your hammer, pin, and fire strike all do way more damage vs armor now basically 100% so armor means nothing to him now, and you get knocked back less plus take less crit damage

had a rein today where he was taking all damage but he wouldn’t die. he’d get really low but i could keep him up still. his survivability because of the buffs had made him better

"Tank BUFFED!" might be a bit misleading. After some testing from before to now against a Rein as the basis, this is what I found: (Body/Headshot)
Dva (+8/+5)
Doomfist (+3/+2)
Junker Queen (+2/+1)
Orisa (+4/+8) - unsure of this one tbh
Rein (-1) - one less swing, which is big!
Roadhog (0/0) - no difference
Sigma (-1) - one less 2-rounded attack
Winston/Zarya - ignores armor so big for them
So as we can see, for the most part, it is not LESS VIABLE to shoot the tank as the tank - with a few exceptions. However, when it comes to DPS, that's when we see an interesting result. As for what I can tell, it appears that body shots require less bullets, ranging for 1-3, while headshots requires more bullets to kill, ranging from 1-3. While that may seem like nothing to some like Cass and Widow (who lost nothing as it was the same across), heroes like Ashe and Hanzo might want to do more body shots as the gap is far more closer than before. And of course, explosive and beam heroes benefit from this overall. They lost nothing, so expect more Junkrat, Sym, Pharah, and even Venture.
However, the biggest issue I see is not DPS, with a few exceptions, it is the Support.

Now while I do say that I am fine with a strong Support, this may be an issue as their power is slowing begininng to creep again, and I doubt we want to see that again. And when this was meant to be a patch for the tanks too!
*Biggest losers not worth mentioning (those who require 10+ to kill, both in headshots and body) - Mauga (when not on fire), Ram, Wrecking Ball, Sojourn, Sombra, Tracer, and Lifeweaver

I watched the 6v6 pugs game just looked better. When you have 1 tank you can't get to a perfect balance by definition..
WOOOOO instead of a lobbies full of losers we get 1 dead weight per team 🗿
But even gm+ players get lose streaks, and I don't consider them losers, seems like lower rank mentality
