In this video we'll learn how to replace a state change for a liked/unliked stated with a Lottie animation. Lottie: github.com/lot... Code: github.com/Rea... Animation: lottiefiles.co...
Very cool! Is there any way to change the heart color from red to something else? I tried via the lottie editor but could only change some of the layers but not the actual red heart image
@@ReactNativeSchool Apparently you can only do it if the source of that file allows you to. I've used another similar file and managed to changed that. I guess depends how flexible designers wants other to change their original design/flow. thanks anyway, this tutorial was really helpful.
Great video! Very helpful. Could you please teach us how to implement this in ? If liked status (e.g: 1 or 0) comes from backend, how to implement array of animation? How to catch it's separate item?
Yes, the problem was that i had inside of a render item of a flatlist, i had to create a different file just for the Lottie and then call it wherever I wanted to use it
Sounds like an installation issue. Are you using the React Native CLI? If so, make sure you're following the install steps: github.com/lottie-react-native/lottie-react-native#installing-react-native--0600
I have found some answers on google saying that this error is caused by lottie.json version (its must be 4.x.x ) but in your video I see you still use it at version 5.x.x without problem
As always, clean and structured code. I learned something new. I didn't know before that you can play certain frames. Thumbs up!
Happy to help!
The best React Native animation video i ever seen
Thank You. i really love your clean code.
Awesome! exactly what I was looking for

I'm not sure. I'm wondering if you would have to use Adobe Illustrator to do that. I've only been able to change the lines around the heart

This is so incredibly helpful. Thank you so much.
This can be implemented on React Native project, or only is for an Expo project?
It will absolutely work in a React Native project - you just need to follow the slightly different install steps.
