Thousand Years Old Temple Near Mysuru | ಮೈಸೂರು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಸಾವಿರ ವರ್ಷದ ಹಳೆಯ ದೇವಾಲಯ | Rrkstravelistry |

Mysuru is known for its cultural & historical places. We are aware of Chamundi Hill, Amba Vilas Palace, Jayachamarajendra Zoological Park & many more.
Recently I came about a temple which is thousand years old located very close to Mysuru City. So I decided to visit this temple.
In Hebbal industrial area the thousand years old temple is located & dedicated to Sri Lakshmi Kantha Deity built by the Cholas Rulers. The temple is constructed by the Dravidian Style of Architecture.

Our vishnava kula temples were rich in landed property once up on time due to land Reformation act by D Dev Raj urs former c m of Karnataka our mutta & temples 🕌 were in poor condition now lord laxmi narasimha bless 🙏 & entire our temples should be handed to parakala mutt of Mysore to develop them once again sir

Come on, this temple was left abandoned when the villagers vacated the hebbal village.
It has been hundreds of years it was hidden. Do you think the wodeyars knowingly didn't improve this temple being so near to Mysore.
This came to limelight only when the Infosys took over the property in Hebbal Industrial area
