Can’t tell you how much respect I have for you trav. I remember as a kid always seeing the montage videos and never really cared for your channel until the 16-17 season I’ll never forget i watched the review you had out for the 1S stick and I’ve been coming back for videos ever since. You really are the glue of TH-cam goaltending and i couldn’t be happier for all the success you have on here. It’s touching and inspiring to see someone love the game that much and sacrifice it all for the biscuit. I was at the hockey Expo in St. Paul over the weekend and was talking with Rob. I teased him about not having a Trav spec Buttendz. He says Hi!
Now the same when we arnt together but I miss him
All that matters with all this is when you are an old man someday you can tell yourself you went for it. Seen a big chunk of the Globe on the way. Your 20s have been a very cool journey. I'm 43 and I definitely did not live enough. Keep it up and heal fast.

You mention getting recruit trips a lot at the start of the video, how did you come by those opportunities?
Emailing and cold calling teams, networking and getting them to let me out was my secret.
I never even realized you trained with jack. I go to him for my training aswell that’s cool. Definitely should see if you can come back for another pro camp

I think at that time, not super. I think not that I’m more knowledgeable it would make a significant bigger difference

Without calling anyone out, I'd be curious to know what happened with the 2 "falling outs" that happened with 2 previous coaches. You know the ones.
As I’ve gotten older I’ve started to prioritize that this isn’t forever. I need a goalie coach that’s all in on helping me. Yes the videos help them but if the outside noise is influencing our relationship. It ain’t gonna work. I miss guy and Steve and Nolan but I wanna get better. That’s it. Too much lol tough to put a dollar value on it but prob 10k? maybe more. I try to travel as cheap as possible but its never "cheap" if that makes sense
