That's not a Kamfa, It's a Zhen Zuo, look at the eye colors, kamfa normally has white or yellowish color eyes, very rare for a kamfa to have red eyes, also body color is diffrent, what you have a is very nice ZZ Red dragon flowerhorn
Sorry to here about that. What were you feeding him and how often? Arawanas are nice I use to have one. What kind did you get . The reason I was asking about food is in my opinion the food with real high protein and power feeding them they have problems digesting it. I feed mine grand sumo red and just once a day . It has only 43 percent protein. I believe that’s why you have more flowerhorns not living to long cause what they feed and how much. I fed him frozen pellet in the Am and regular pellets in the PM. no beef heart. never any live food. I got a baby silver arowana now. I'll only feed him 1/ day. I also took out all the gravel and rocks so it is glass bottom now. way easier to clean. Well see about a video. Maybe when they get larger.

Thomasgolen Golen he was probably about three and a half to 4 inches he was growing really fast when he was younger. Then he starts to grow slower as he gets older
My water pump is a 1300 GPH pump from harbor freight tools. $36 cost. I had my last pump from them as well and it worked for 3 years straight with no problems. Then I built this tank.
the flower horn died, unfortunately. Due to my heater malfunctioning. water got to 95 degrees and fish died. My thermometer was not working acurate. said it was 75

Alif Alfian In Indonesia Super Red Dragons and RD are cheap because people there are poor and not everybody can efford expensive fishes and because there are many FH farms. This DOES NOT MEAN that SRD and RD are second level FH. Personally, l think SRD and RD among FH are the ones with more exciting personalities.
I found out the electronic thermometer was slowly malfunctioning. I kept turning up the heater trying to fix it. Then he died. Now i have 3 thermometers.
Guys I found out exactly why my fish have been dying. I had only 1 electronic thermometer. It was slowly malfunctioning for about 1 month before i realized. it. at first it was just slightly off and gradually started reading lower temp than before. So I was turning up the temps on the heater trying to compensate. Eventually my beautiful fish died. MY ADVICE!!! Get 3 thermometers!

Is he still eating? Is his stomach thinner and concaveing in? How is his color?
tony kaiser he stopped eating two days ago. His stomach is extremely swollen now and he is pretty pale and not looking good at all.

I put prime solution in each tank of water at the same time I refill it. Then it sits for days before I use it to fill the tank. So the water is clean
