I do believe in the after life, having felt my dads hand on my shoulder at a family function, also while visiting my grandads grave, who lost his life to injuries, sustained in ww1, 6 wks before my dad was born. I put my hand on his stone, and said, â grandad if you can please send a message to me, telling me where the photo, of him and my gran wasâ getting home I went for a lie down, and all of a sudden, came a message saying, â photo is with granâ with that I told my sister and we both said the same, it must of been put in grans coffin, who passed away in 1963,

I know that question about how to know. Itâs a vague feeling. I decided I wanted to move forward. I asked myself to show me my feelings slowly, gently so that I could understand them without getting overwhelmed. I feared being overwhelmed by them. And thatâs whatâs happening. Slowly I get little glimpses and fear sets in and then I remind myself I can do it. I look at the images, feel the feelings, and write them down. Life is getting a little easier. Iâm 67.
Channeling, or seeing can be a gift, or it can be a burden because if you have the ability and can pick up the "radio signals", you can't just turn it off, it manifests wherever and whenever you are near people. I once read this brillaint analogy of clairvoyance; imagine a train journey. The train journey and the people in the train represent how much of the entire human experience each person percieves. In the compartment, people sitting near the center aisle can't see very much out of the windows - these are how people who do not have clairvoyance experience the world - with limited vision. Then you have someone sitting directly at the window - they are not fully clairvoyant, but are empathetic, or have some clairvoyant ability, and percieve much more of the world around them they can look slightly ahead, and slightly behind. The true "fully functional" clairvoyant.....is sitting on the roof of the train! I think all forms of connecting with a realm outside of the known human senses is a bit like that.

I would genuinely love to know if she is real, I would dearly love to talk to my twin brother who passed away.
She's been tested and tested and there's no deception or trickery, I believe she does have a talent that we cannot explain.
My grandmother used to have out for a week to be with her. She had the weirdest talent....the phone would ring and she would look surprised and say: Why, that's Laura! I haven't talked to her for almost a year!" She pick up the phone and say "Hello Laura!" And it would be Laura who hadn't talked to her in almost a year! We just called it Grandma's weirdness.

They're not consulting if the spirits come to them. They're just receiving. It's a different thing if you're calling them out. And be careful about quoting the Old Testament. There are a lot of things in there I know you wouldn't get behind.
@@73cidalia Nobody is allowed to turn to ghosts according to the quotation. There is one God and the Bible contains the Old Testament and the New Testament. You should think about it!
the bible is really really clear that dead people cannot communicate in spirit, this "gift" is false, these bad spirits that have been cast out know everything about you that's why you believe them. Reag your bible folks and see what God has to say about all this.
The Bible is written and re-written over and over again by people. They translated from old Hebrew and translated to hundreds of other languages. They were doing this when the Christian Church was run by people with power over so many others. God was not the one writing. We know that for sure. I'm more sceptic about religion, do you understand that? I believe in God, feel that there must be something beautiful and powerful we can't see, hear, smell, taste or touch, something responsible for our existence. But I don't trust people with too much power.

I have no idea...but I like how she brings comfort I guess which is really what we want. Just to hear that our passed ones are ok. But that's my take on it. I'd love to hear from my dad. Some say they leave signs, you have to be open minded. I hear his voice occasionally but it's never when I'm alone. I guess we'll never ever know ððĨ°
