Ste's accent is so thick I cant help but laugh when he talks sometimes.
I love how Brenda says take off your clothes... and Ste just starts taking off his clothes. Like "Okay, okay. This again."

@Florence Snow - I went back and watched the video, since I am also unclear on the deli ownership right now. The lawyer said that the papers Ste and Brendan signed "wiped out the deli's debt" to Brendan. His essential role was like a bank, lending money. He could have perhaps taken the deli to collect on an unpaid debt, but until that point, he had no say in ownership. Ste and Doug opened the deli together, their names were on the business account we saw, so they do both own the deli.
Oh Emmett, what will we do without you? What will HO be without you? An era is soon to end.:-(

Oh my gosh, I expected Seamus to lurk in the shadows for a while, not reappear instantly. Darn it! Well, at least we got some Stendan loving before Brendan's evil father returned to crush his spirit again. If only they could have been together during Hollyoaks Later, then we could have seen some of what kept Ste from the deli during the lunch rush! ;)

In the meeting with the lawyer, he specifically said the papers were erasing the debt. That's it.
Brendan did not "buy Doug a deli." He loaned him the money to buy the storefront. Any business licenses and accounts - which we saw in one episode - have nothing to do with Brendan, and are in Ste and Doug's names.
Given that they invested none of their own money and the deli wasn't turning a profit when he was there, it would seem selfish of Doug to want a buyout though.
Think about... Joel does the work right and Brendan and Ste live their happy ever after😢
Please let Cheryl's moment of clarity last...PLEASE. Also, ugh. Brendan and Cheryl moments of sibling love and affection totally undo me. I can't help it. I'm very close with my brother and we're exactly the same way. We're not afraid to be vulnerable with each other and those moments are precious.

Ste left the steak dinner. He didn't sign any papers. The only papers he signed were to forgive the loan.
Again, Brendan never OWNED the deli. If a bank lends you money to start a business, they do not own it. They cannot "give" it to someone. The business only becomes theirs if the borrower defaults on the loan. Brendan forgave the loan, so that didn't happen. At which point, the two people on the business account - which we saw, and Brendan had no part of - are Ste and Doug.
you miss what she said, she is not saying it determined his sexual orientation, it made it harder for him to accept himself as who he is because it would prove his father right and also self loathing what it represented to him.

I don't understand - you saw the episode, right? So you know Seamus is not dead, right?
Did you mean that IF the plan had worked out, the police would have found the body? In which case, Seamus would not have been filed as missing, since this disappearing is common behavior for him. And the fire would have consumed all of the evidence of foul play. Any suspicions they had about the body being Seamus and foul play would be very hard to prove.

Kieron has been spending mint time at the gym since early last year. Yes, his body looks as good as his face; an all round handsome (beautiful) man, IMO. Excuse my personal observation.

I used to think Ste like being spoiled by Brendan but I see it's the other way around ;)
Brendan never OWNED the deli, thus he couldn't sign it over to Ste. He just lent Doug the money for the deli, a loan which he could have held over their heads. The papers Brendan and Ste signed erased that debt completely. So the business itself still belongs to both Doug and Ste.
That being said, neither invested their own money in it, so it's not like Doug NEEDS to be bought out to recoup his investment, but he may WANT to be bought out of the business.
Actually Brendan did own the deli as Doug had signed an agreement with Brendan owning the deli until he Doug was able to pay Brendan back. If you recall in the episode after walker tried killing Ste/Declan, Brendan said "same reason i loan Doug the money to purchase the deli, same reason i sign that same deli over to you".
Seamus is a true cockroach. Stepping on him once isn't enough to kill him.
Knew it wasn't that easy... I'm actually glad this won't be on Brendan's conscience and he doesn't have to lie to Ste or Chez (at least for now cause who knows what will happen next)
