You can use Mod Podge to put on the sequins and then brush more Mod Podge over them when you're done. I used it to apply sequins to my car's bumber decal and it's stood up to all four seasons for the past 4 years. Not one sequin has dropped off.
Liquid fusion is a good glue also, nontoxic and no strong smell. For the glitter on the shoe you may want to look into backfist customs at the glue on that site. You apply and heat. Making it a permanent seal. This were very cute. Love the color.
Awesome and very polished, tasteful, & appropriate for all ages. No annoying music, love your voice, I am now a subscriber but......I wish I knew when and how often I can expect more videos. Hopefully once a week? Youd have way more subscribers if you did! Ty
When I do this method I always seal them. I wouldnt wear them in the rain however any water left from rain can splash onto shoe not to mention I always have the worst luck when it comes to spilling my coffee and even had ice cream fall on my shoes before. I guess it's up to each person if sealing is important or not and with me and my grand baby I definitely seal every shoe I glitter. Love ur vid! ❤ I use Aleene's "Gloss Finish" acrylic sealer spray.
I’m sorry, I don’t remember the brand. I’m not brand specific, If I see a color I like I buy it. I always buy glitter from Michael’s. Thank you for watching! ☺️
Thank you!! Actually any glitter works! Any brand! Recollections has a beautiful line of glitter in a lot of beautiful colors. They’re more expensive also. For this project, there’s really no difference when I use Walmart glitter vs a more expensive brand however. Thank you for watching! 😊
Is it possible to remove an application of the mixture if you don't like the glitter color and re-apply wth a different mixture to the same pair of sneakers?
Yes, I learned that the hard way when I first started trying my hand at cell phone cases years ago. I use all quality stones now so that’s not an issue, but I would prefer a less toxic glue. I’ve actually purchased Gem Tack, but I’ve been too nervous to use it on a project that I’m doing for anyone else. I know the stones aren’t going anywhere when I use E6000. I’ll have to give the Gem Tack a try! Thank you so much for the info! 😊
I love these types of videos because they show you how to customize anything, and not be a slave to designers and pay their prices. Great job!

Wow! You go girl!😆. WERK those sequins!🤩
Those are cute. I like the way you did the glitter vs using the glue and then shaking the glitter on. This way doesn't made it look all clunky.
Thank you! 😊
Girl, YOU DID THAT!😍
They look as if they were purchased that way. Sooooo nice!

I never thought to mix the glitter into the mod podge. I love the shoes

What would you seal it with?
Love these!! And your voice is so soothing :)
i like this tutorial the most because you taped down the shoe very well around the tongue of the shoe for easy application.
Thank you! ☺️
I blinged my Birkenstock sandals with crystals.
Can you iron on a logo the glitter shoe?
Excellent instructions. Thank you for sharing 🥰
Thank you!! ☺️☺️
Love the video!!💖💖💖
❤. My favorite color
Super cute!! thanks for sharing!
E6000 is very strong when it comes to fumes. I think Gem Tac works just as well maybe better
What about sealing the glitter so it does not come off all over the place .. seal it with hair spray or fabric spray glue..
I would never use hair spray I would just put more mod lodge over the top of it or any type of sealer that can go on fabric
How much mod podge and glitter did you use for this project?
I love these shoes
Super cuteeeee.... new sub🙋🏽♀️
Thank you! 😊
Can you use an old pair of shoes?
Yes jus wash them first so the surface us clean
Or dont wash same thing
Any tennis shoes will work old or new
What glitter did you use? Where did you get it?
I’m sorry, I don’t remember the brand. I’m not brand specific, If I see a color I like I buy it. I always buy glitter from Michael’s. Thank you for watching! ☺️
Beautiful , thanks!
I love it thanks beautiful
Awesome video!!!! What kind of glitter do I use if i want it to be more glittery like over the top bam glitter?
Thank you!! Actually any glitter works! Any brand! Recollections has a beautiful line of glitter in a lot of beautiful colors. They’re more expensive also. For this project, there’s really no difference when I use Walmart glitter vs a more expensive brand however. Thank you for watching! 😊
You just add more glitter like you just keep putting more layers on if you want more on them
Great video!
Is it possible to remove an application of the mixture if you don't like the glitter color and re-apply wth a different mixture to the same pair of sneakers?
Idk I don’t think so
What type of mod podge is that plzs
Ran across your channel today, shoes are cute. So, what is that purple tool with waxy looking ball on one end? #curious
How much do you charge to bling sneakers?
$125 + depending on the design.
Can i use mod podge sealant spray as finishing touch?
Yes
@@DamenicaJ cool. Thanks! ^_^
Yes you can if you want them to be sealed but you don’t need to
What size crystals did you use? I looked for the supply list and didn’t see it.
Sorry about the late response. The link is in the description. 😊
Have you ever added vinyl to your shoes? I have a request for glitter but not sure how to add the vinyl where it will stay.
Use a mini iron; they work wonders!
Thank you so much!!!
Oh my, these are just too cute!! What little tool do you use to add on the rhinestones? Are they tweezers?
Is it waterproof?
Idk
Loctite has a gel formula. I actually prefer it over E6000
I’ll have to try that! Thank you for sharing!!
@@DamenicaJ welcome!
Me too; recently discovered it. I think its a bit more flexible when dry and odorless while applying. Super strong hold.
If the shoes were white do you think you would need more than 1 coat?
Nope but you can do it
Can i do it on pumps and it not crack when i walk
You can do this on any type of shoes you want besides uggs or flip flops
DIY Custom glitter & rhinestone converse
Does the glue dry clear?
Mod lodge dries clear so does the E6000
What size crystals did you use?
Does the mod podge dry hard, or is it flexible to bend with the shoe without cracking?
It’s flex able as far as I know but I’ve never put it on fabric before
About how many stones per shoe did you use? Very cute!
Damenica thank you for your quick response !
I’m sorry for the question but is that 450 per shoe or 450 for both ? Thanks in advance for the answer
Love
You're a rockstar!
Can the shoes be machine washed? I have a thing about pristine gym shoes.
Thanks for your response
I don’t think so
I call it bling your thing
Quanto talento sucesso gata
How long does the glitter last?
@@DamenicaJ awesome thank you.
@@DamenicaJ Can you wash the shoes if they get dirty? Or, does the mod podge help to keep them clean?
Liquid Fusion works great but not the one by Alene’s.
Thank you! I’ll have to try it!
E6000 yellows and eats away t j.g e silver backing on plastic rhinestones. Gem tack is a better solution.

Do I have to let the first coat dry completely before adding a second coat?
No, it doesn’t have to be completely dry, but you do want to give it a little bit of time so the second coat sticks.
@@DamenicaJ thank you
About how long does this take to dry?
I would say let them dry for at least a full day maybe 2 day’s

Does the tongue crack if it dries bent? Does the shoe have to be the same color
