Make sure it is cotton, not synthetic. Also, a lot of outdoor clothing is treated with a fire retardant that takes a while to was out. Hold the striker steady where you want the sparks to go and pull the rod towards you.
That wasn't a challenge, That was a bucket list, Your ambitions for your ponds and family are unbelievable, We never know what you got going to make us the next video, And this one was another good video, Thanks, Pensacola,
I desperately need a Victory Outdoor Concrete and BamaBass collab. Ryan from Victory is in the middle of building a massive pond on his commercial property and I think some help from BamaBass would help a lot. He has spoken about adding fish to the pond once it is finished, so I think a collab between you to would be perfect. I am not sure of the differences of a pond in Milwaukee vs one in Alabama, but it sure would be interesting. Love your videos and its something I look forward to every weekend.
No way it’s already been a year since you released them. I don’t know what it is about your channel, but time flies by through the series. Guess it’s just so entertaining that I remember it like it was yesterday :)
When I was a kid I loved going down to the creek, forested area, fresh water. Etc. the naps I took beside that creek were some of the best sleep I've ever had.
Haha i love how your 48 hr challenge is the same as when me and my friends would camp in my backyard… 25 feet away from the back door since i live in a row house lol. 4 outta 6 kids would go inside and fall asleep n the couches or beds within 3 hours every time.
Man I've waited for a very long time been subscribed for years well before the big pond build when you had bonie Clyde and sherriff and the aquariums ! I was impressed with the first pond and you've only gone 10000xfurther I'm glad I've followed for so long and plan to for many more ! 🎉 So the island survival challenge ! I love it keep up the hard work
My weekend is complete as I'm watching the newest episode of BamaBass.. get paid every two weeks... and the opposite two weeks, I watch BamaBass.. WhaahhhHOOO!!!!
The videos make my week I’ve been here way before often on you started at the build, but I’ve been with you since the build. I can’t wait to your videos come out that’s so cool.
It’s great to see someone showing some survival techniques. A lot of people just don’t how to do the simplest of things. I was thinking this over and wondered if you might have been in the dog house 🤣 Thanks for the great videos!
You inspire me and I often think of how much lately us humans need to be closer to the earth like our ancestors. This is such a great video and thanks for sharing your journey so I can always remember to be outside when I can. You’re living the dream great footage!
@nahornig. Just because he uses technology does not negate the fact he’s someone passionate about nature and his animals. I haven’t camped in years so it inspired me to go camping in the warmer months of my area which I think is his point; connect with nature more in any way that you’re able to and what’s available for you.
Wonderful to see - as ever - thanks for sharing your outdoor life with us. As a big city, high-floor apartment dweller, I need your videos to keep me sane. Also, your kids are adorable beyond words.💕
Loving the videos like always. I would definitely love for either... more tag transmitters in the pond or a boat drawn antenna to help locate those bandits 😊 keep up the wonderful work you're doing.
Why not eat one of the bass? That's crazy to me. If I raised a pond full of bass, I'd dang sure want to find out what they taste like, once they got over 2-3 pounds. Also, I'm suprised you still haven't built a nice little weighing/measurement station on the dock. Seems like something you'd have done a long time ago. Killer video this week, bud. Thanks
I highly recommend learning how to make a nest with that kindling you had. I got a fire started that way super fast without lint. It's honestly a cool skill to learn. Love your videos, man!
Several willow trees at edge of pond will provide much needed shade for fish and other species of animals living in pond n helps keep water temperature down a little and stabilize ground from erosion
I opened up youtube today to see the video I have been waiting to see all my life but never knew it: survival-style videos mixed with crimson oak pond videos!
Pro tip from a seasoned "survivalist" camper: If you get a tarp, or even two, put it under your tent and with the excess put it over your tent, or if possible, make a make shift lean to. That way the tarp will act as a vapor/moisture barrier and keep the floor dry, and as a lean to, will keep the rain off the tent and even the things you want to keep outdoors, like boots and etc. I awoke to a tent with 1" of water in it because I didn't do these things. After that incident, I put a folded up tarp underneath, and had another for a lean to to cover it, and never had a flooded/wet tent on the inside again.
I'm sorry I laughed at you camping when it rain so much. This would be my luck. So I see it's not just me. 😅😊😂 I'm like everyone love your videos cant wait to see them !!! I like the dryer lint idea I'm gonna start saving it and putting it in a plastic jar and keep it for when I go camping.
Best! Ever! I've been waiting for a catch, clean, and cook video. Did you give the cube above the water a thought yet? A fish tank on the water surface, fish can swim up into and out of the Top water tank.
Haha being on that island isn't like being up Poop Creek without a paddle. I'd call that Fantasy Island. Come out of the tent on your knees saying "de plane, de plane". That's for all my 1980s folks out there.
7:43. Really cheaped out on the tent, huh??? Holy smokes! Hilleberg is a lot of tent for a backyard camping trip. Wanna give it away to a weekly viewer?😂
Sawyer is a great company. Everyone should have one of those water filters. So much of their profits and products are used in charitable projects internationally, bringing clean drinking water to as many people as possible.
Weeping willows next to a pond can grow huge and look beautiful, but he may be worried about trees with invasive roots piercing the pond liner. Willows are bad for destructive roots.
Berry bushes for the island, or birch trees, or something to provide shade and some food/shelter for birds? Something that will stay smaller than the oak as it grows? your content is fantastic, what cool professes you work on, love seeing all of your different builds and ideas. Your uploads made for a good evening! Much love from Canada 🍁
Fun fact: you can make your own dryer lint in the field by scraping a knife against your clothing. Can definitely help in a pinch.
Nice!
Make sure it is cotton, not synthetic. Also, a lot of outdoor clothing is treated with a fire retardant that takes a while to was out.
Hold the striker steady where you want the sparks to go and pull the rod towards you.
That only works with cheap edit" cotton stitches
Or he could just go get some matches. He got all of his other supplies from the mainland, why not.
It is so fortunate that these children get to grow up in such a paradise. Well done on this beautiful project.

Build a little fish farm pond to farm big golden shiners to feed the bass
Yes!!!
I second this idea

I need this after vandy ruined my weekend 😂
LOL😂😂
Lol, made mine, nothing against Bama but you have to root for poor Vandy as a outsider.
It was a crazy weekend for football
Lost to a hospital…🤣🤣🤣🤣
A wooden bridge to Alcatraz island would be pretty cool!!!
Without a bridge it offers refuge to birds from predators though.
@@logarhythmic6859Drawbridge it is, then.
favorite person on youtube for sure

What type of snake is that??
Yeah like our ancestors' StarLink-enabled, automatic robo-fountains, polymer lined, CAD-designed ponds used to be...
