A lot of sights he called "trash" I personally find great! The "new" Eotech HHS (the one with the magnification) is freaking awesome now :) Also the previously terrible Comp M4 with integrated laser got a lot better.
Yeah. The Kobra for example is still great. I find the dot easier to see than it used to be even if it is a little fuzzy now, and the chevron is still great.
@@55oblivion55 comp m4 doesn't have an integrated laser, it looks like it does but that's just the battery housing because it takes AAs or whatever. You're thinking of the holosun which looks very similar but the extra tube on that one actually is a laser.

I thought the dot on the Kobra used to be a great PK-06 alternative because it was one of the only tiny dots in the game (although in bright conditions I used dot+chevron to make it easier to find). The new dots are way too large and blurry for my liking and I really miss the small one, even though I understand they had to do it to make it more accurate to IRL and not make a cheap sight more precise than a lot of sights that cost twice as much. Chevron is still pretty good though, imo.
It's like a half re-work. All scopes technically changed because it doesn't zoom you in anymore when you aim, but only some of them were actually changed. I feel like the ACOG didnt get enough love (with that triangle chevron).

I think he underestimates new thermals, the whole point of such scopes is that they are visible in non-ADS mode. So you can walk around normally and as soon as you can see anything on the scope you can ADS and shoot.
That mutant is a beast. 41 recoil and 40 ergo with a drummag and a suppressor. Shoots 7,62x39 BP or MAI AP with 650 rpm. This gun is going to be meta without a doubt. Also the EXP3-0 is insane, last wipe it was my favorite and right now it's even better.
A note about the Walther MRS Reflex Sight (4:47)The "T" is the closest to your gun's actual recoil out of all the reticles, as the dots add too much sway and the circle one is just ugly. I find it really good with the T reticle :)
7:00 as a side sight for night ops could be good you could percieve heat signature at a distance in pure darkness without even aiming with it. They should definitely sparate the keys to press to zoom and toggle illumination on scopes
It was originally designed for that purpose : not exposing yourself and have corners / holes peaks... it's pretty decent irl actually. But ingame = BIG NO GO ! :D
well some of them got better. most expensive scopes and sights (IRL) got better, most cheap (PK06 included) got worse. Sounds good for me. Razor UH-1 got definitely better for me, fan of this sight.

Probably easier without any sight at all. I think that sight is supposed to be mounted on top of a scope as a detector.
Just want to make a note here. Every gun now has a fixed viewing angle in scopes, unique to each gun, so sight view, and eye relief may vary. Idk about acog fov, but maybe. It's kind of a shame acogs are famous for their wide field of view and it doesn't seem like they delivered.
Would love a Night version of this. Some Sights turn to trash at night. Really just looking to hear you say trash again. But really really...Night version please?
This review is great and I really appreciate that you time stamped every sight, although this game is still in closed beta and I believe that there is some wiggle room to make every sight look somewhat better.
The Valday Krechet I found works great for the ADAR because you can plop it on there and it sees completely over both the front and rear irons. So for the first few days of the wipe it was nice because it didn’t need to mod the Adar at all to get a red dot on it that clears the irons.
They really blew this. Acogs are still strash, most sniper scopes look the same. Literally nothing besides pk-06 will change. Vudu and hamr are still the gods.
That sight you mentioned you would use if the illumination didn't toggle with the zoom is just an over lap in your keybindings. There is a separate toggle for illumination

@LVNDMARK One thing I would encourage people to consider is the T12W Thermal is garbage by itself, but amazing with a canted sight. You can see both clearly when using the canted sight, and the thermal basically gives you target acquisition against camouflaged or concealed opponents in areas with bad lighting or heavy foliage at distance. So you use the canted sight to actually aim while having clear vision of heat signatures at the same time to confirm targets or sweep around like people do with reap-irs and flirs. It's pretty slick and people are sleeping on it.

Irl the only difference betwen the original 1963 PSO-1 and it's sucessors is just that the IR detector got deleted and the range got adjusted for different guns. It's ludicrous that it's better than *any* of the modern mid range scopes.
Someone needs to test if they moved the point of zero for the deltapoint from the center of the chevron, to the point of the chevron. That teeny tiny change would make that sight amazing.. and its exactly why one would use a chevron shape at all
I actually really like the specter and the Eotech hybrid sights now. Also the monstrum will always have a place in my heart because being able to turn the reticle black/red is really useful when you’re colorblind like me.

With the Ultima you can aim around corners and see the screen. Only sight you can do that with.

Colorblind mode in PostFX changes sight colors btw. I have deutranopia and its the only way I can see the reticle on any of the sights lol.
