Focusing Ibara is officially stray lore. Another greenie for him to hunt down.
If I'm not mistaken, you got frozen at 20:32 because you got hit by Todo's ice slide while in hyper armor. Saw a PSA on Reddit saying that this stores the freezable state on you for four seconds, and taking damage will trigger it. Seems like it's programmed badly on top of being too strong in general!
Yep it's such bs honestly, happened to me a few times when I hyper armour through his ice with all mights beta
i climbed from unranked to ace mostly solo queue this season with just ibara and let me tell you. i hate it when people focus me!

For Ibara’s alpha, I find that if you’re trying to snipe from far away you should zoom in, but if they’re running around close to you (especially in your face) or at mid-range don’t zoom in
Also: your beta is a VERY useful skill- it refills quickly, and it’s the perfect “get off me” tool. It also does really good damage when leveled up (but really, what skill doesn’t?)
Also, off-topic from the Ibara discussion- has anyone else noticed bots in their games? Their names are the character names (for example “Itsuka Kendo” or “Tomura Shigaraki”).

Coming from an Ibara main, you want to just throw out your projectiles whenever you can in mid-long range no matter if they're behind hills or buildings, her vines crawl through/over them as long the enemies are in range. When in midair, your alpha can't shoot straight down, but your beta skill can. Her Beta skill is where most of her super armor lies in, you can just throw it out to beat most attacks and avoid knockbacks or use it as a counterattack.
Don't rely that much on grapples, since her hitbox is actually quite misleading, it's smaller than what it seems. But if you want to confirm a grab, do a melee then go for the grab.
And lastly, don't forget to focus Ibara!

shiggy and ibara grapple are great when ppl plus ultra bc u can just kill em through the shield. it’s awesome. sadly i suck at playing her but hopefully i’ll get better
usually when you see level up cards like that in central area it means that the bots (due to autofill) dueled it out and none of them are programmed to pick up cards or any items in general so it just gets left there

P.S: I noticed that you sometimes forget Ibara vines curve off objects. Sometimes it wasn't your aim, but simply your terrain making your vines bounce.
Mont lady tracking is crazy good... first perform a normal run jump then use her slide kick ... you can also run jump then use your alpha then slide kick for extra damage

Beta ability gives you kinda of immunity from stun abilities, and yes you were too relaying on the grab . Try to use beta in close-mid ranges fight . Thank you for such an amazing video ❤️.
Whenever you see random level up cards everywhere in two’s. You have found yourself in a bot lobby.
That first game had a weird visual glitch where it indicated a 10th ko and set your kos in the overlay to 00
Also games 2 and 3 seemed to have a loþ of bots

I will say tho that people who don’t use her really sleep on her Beta it does insane damage
I mistyped the thumbnail I meant 10K.O's but the highest I've gotten on her is around 8.9k back when the game dropped.

Good Ibara players scare me, but that’s also because I can’t really get a feel for her while playing as her. I’ve won as every character in Season 1 but my Ibara game had me being carried ngl

I just had a 9.7k/8 K.O with Dabi. People sleep on Dabi so much like he’s the work character but with Speed and Defense cards he’s a maniac. I had 2 teams chase me with my team wiped and I killed all 6 of them with traps and circle of fire.

Idk what happen with Ibara alpha, but it feels like sometimes it's bugged like it doesn't hit even tho it goes through them 😐
He unzoomed alpha seems to miss more than her zoomed alpha.
the hitbox is on each individual vines, sometimes it has massive gaps if you try to hit multiple people, but on higher levels, the hitbox is bigger.

They need to nerf uraka spin and kirshima punch and toga cool down for her charge comes to fast and let us shoot through momo behind her when she uses her shield
Uraraka spin is fine as is since it’s so godawful at lower levels, Kirishima Punch is pretty fair if you know how to dodge around it, and if Momo was changed she’d probably be a bit too weak. I do agree that Toga needs a bit of a nerf on the Beta though, it is indeed very strong.

Also aim in when using her Alpha, for her Beta use it indoors or in tight spaces and her Y ability is useless imo because they have to be real close to you
