@@chook1311Exactly. These things, lotr and this are absolutely different things, having almost nothing besides names with each other. Amazon takes on it it's not even a parody. It's a cringe fest, despicable creation.
Morfydd Clark looks genuinely terrified to say anything that might possibly cause any kind of fan backlash. She obviously has put a lot of effort toward learning about Tolkein's stories
Tbf most don't blame the actors for this shit show. It's the producers, directors, writers, studio that is at fault. Though Morfydd can calm down on rolling her "Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
@@guneytopal7076Well you should… These actors are pissing on a life work of one of the most remarkable writers of the past century. On the movies, even the younger cast members knew the books quite well and would read them for reference during filming of the movies. This series has no shame or no respect over Tolkien’s work.
Totally agree. Unforuntely its the way of middle class actors now. Its not as important they dont feel the need to research, shameful rewlly. Great cast but incredibly dissappinting they cba to research @Z3ZP
Thanks all the team for great modern fantasy you did guys, don't listen to some narrow minded people trying to deny it, the formula just works, you can feel both the scale and the fantasy!
Pretty sure Rory (who plays Tom Bombadil in the show) basically hinted that the stranger is Gandalf in this interview. We’ve had plenty of hints in the show regardless but I had hoped we would’ve gotten a blue wizard instead. 😢
i mean, now that sauron has blond hair, galadriel will be smoking for him, she will rue the day she turned him down. only because he had dark locks instead of golden. oh, the tortured hots she’s gonna get…
I hate to be so negative (congratulations on getting the interviews and being able to give them the trivia btw!), but it is downright depressing (or indeed infuriating) to see how little Kinnear cares about the story he’s gonna be playing such a beloved character in. Constantly making unrelated jokes, doesn’t give a whit about the subject. Weyman is excited at least despite not knowing the lore, but we’ve seen already that he’s done a very good performance in S1, so that’s alright. All the others are great! As this was the first interview I’ve seen Hazeldine in, I must say I am impressed with how happy he seems to be there.
I'm really sorry for the actors. "The Rings of Power" is garbage but thats not necessarily their fault. The producers and script writers are the ones who are responsible and should get all the hatespeech. Especially I feel pity for Rory Kinnear, he's been so good in "Penny Dreadful"
Why would I do know the combined length of the theatrical versions AMATEURSSSS 😂😂 no I'm teasing. I think I want to hang out with Daniel though he seems very enthusiastic about it all.
I am sure that they don’t know the answer to each question because they probably skipped the Appendices which is at the back of each book which is largely what this show is based on, because it can seem similar to reading the glossary at the end of a textbook which would be boring unless you were really interested in the subject matter.
This just adds confirmation to what I've seen from the rings of politically acceptable power, and it's genuinely infuriating how little respect they have for the works they are desecrating.
I just been watching the interviews from LOTR and I'm afraid it's notably different how involved and knowledgeable the cast had for Tolkien back then. Their love for the books shows in the films, that I think is lacking in this series It's absolutely OK to joke around answers but I don't believe they knew a lot. I think theirs and the writers true love and understanding is what is missing from the series in my opinion
Viggo Mortensen never read the books and barely knew any of it until he was casted to the movies, wich made him read them (not just the scripts) and fall in love with Tolkien's world. So yes, I have the same thoughts as you about this crew. Anyway I think the actors are not the main problem of the show, as the showrunners and writters are.
@@LS.TV_ Viggo is like no other, and immersed himself fully when hw got the part And thank god he did!! I agree its the showrunners and the writing, but I think in turn they have not encouraged the actors to dive deeper into the world themselves and appreciate like the cast did on the film. Shocking…These were basic questions… i really hoped that atleast one of them would have tried to get a little bit into the lore, to unterstand their character better. Uncomparable to the lotr movies cast.

Awful show. How can anyone look at this dross and retain their dinner?
huge props to Charles Edwards for including Bill in the fellowship
That alone made him my favorite of the cast
they’re taking the hobbits seriously 😭😭😭😭😭
@@blondseanti the LOTR trilogy summed up in 5 words 🤣
If only RoP took them seriously.
In a parallel universe, Sauron and Celebrimbor would have been besties!
The chemistry between the Charles Duo is outstanding. Honestly, these two should be type casted together for another show.
"They're taking the hobbits seriously" 😂That sounds so refreshing
I am obsessed with Sam Hazeldine's Adar. My personal highlight of Season 2, which is a great one overall.
Me too!
Oh same
He was very great:)
his voice is so sexy
Rory Kinnear proving he was the right person to cast for Tom Bombadil throughout
“Bilbo loved the police” 😂
insert fields of gold
"Bilbo’s is Sting… but Bobo gives it to Frodo” 😂

Shoutout to Bill the pony
When Morfydd is naming the fellowship, her voice gets all shy yet giggly, it’s cute.

I love how seriously they took the runtime question, Charlie's "oh fuck!" was so genuine 😂

What I want to see more than any more seasons of RoP is the cast playing their characters in a D&D campaign for 5 seasons.
Rory and Daniel, just perfect casting right there

Sauron looks more like an elf in real life😢
That's not what Elves look.
I wish the writers of the show were better at their jobs. The actor all seem very capable, my favorite are prince Durin, Elrond, Sauron and Brimby.
