Claire, I love these teaching series video (Like the Journey to < 90). Also, You're great at taking the instructions and relating them back in ways that beginners can understand as well. I'm only 40 yrs behind you in my learning, but it is heartening to see that even someone who started so young, and is quite a good golfer, can still be enlightened/illuminated by expert scientific input. You just convinced me to steal my wife's shopping money and go to a technician and instructor somewhere. BTW, if my wife now wants to talk to you... Do not pick up the phone. Seriously though, this was maybe the best video that I have watched in a long while from anyone.
Hey Claire, great stuff. I knew the first time I saw you on the Golfholics channel, you were destined to blow up on TH-cam once you got around to it. Love Love Love your channel. Can't wait to see more great stuff. All the best. ❤❤
I really appreciate this series. I was on the golf team in middle school and high school, but the coach was not interested in helping you unless you were already really good. The sole piece of advice I got was "aim for the bunkers, you're insane out of the bunkers." 😑
Claire, I use "Stack & Tilt" because I don't want to move off the ball too much. You come off the ball in order to step into the shot and put more force behind your spin. After trying both ways, I like my own variant of "Stack & Tilt": I stick my butt out more than advised, but it helps me. What I found is that contact with my iron shots started to sound like a .22 calibre long rifle round. The foot powder I spray on my irons showed me that I was sweet-spotting shot after shot. I was way more consistent & just as long with better ball flight. Why not start with your weight on your left foot for the wedges? If you crisp them, your distance won't change much, but your accuracy will really increase. Next destination: Stack & Tilt School.
The swing though that has helped me make much better contact is get deep with my right hip back and then have the feeling of keeping my back to the ball just a split second longer coming down. Doing that gets my body and club timed out better and I can use my fast hip turn forward with no effort and get much better consistent contact.
I like the advice he gave about getting the trail hip out of the way. I've been working on that and feeling like my back stays turned a bit longer when my arms come down. It gives you a lot more space. Love the instructional vids!
Great video. It’s really cool how you have a real understanding of what Jamie was pointing out. You are a real good golfer already and I’m sure your fans are hoping you get better and go far. Jamie was great at explaining it.
Interesting video. I'm quite flexible too and had to tone down my hip rotation. What felt like normal rotation for me was me way over doing the backswing when coach showed me a video. But now i tend to run iut of space and push shots right. Never thought about the "triangle of air"
Yes yes yes... your leg/hip action is working much better with that.... and as a result, your release and finish position looks better too. The only other thing I would add is something that would possibly take stress off your injured shoulder... and that is... not to finish with the club around your neck so much. I would rather see the hands high and shaft going "thru your ears", than the arms getting more behind you, and shaft wrapping around your neck and pointing downrange. I am sure your present finish position is putting lots of strain on that shoulder. Cheers.
I know those tweaking itches(and that’s part of your charm), but just be careful Claire! You have the most beautiful swing in the world, don’t mess with it pleeeasee 😅🙏😍
2:57 hmm..confusion? So no ben hogan / tom saguto / Eric Cogorno etc / stack and tilt golf method taught here, or? Where they talk about the importance of always having the weight on the left foot and no (which is difficult to time perfectly) weight transfer from right to left 4:51
try thrusting your hips at the ball more. you would think that would create early extension and less space, but it actually does the opposite and you'll get that triangle of light. also feel like the arms are swinging up through the ball, and you will have to rotate more left to square up that arm swing down the target line. these combined will keep you really nice and out over the ball with tons of space.
Great looking swing compression and contact sounded perfect. I've only broke 90 twice I've had a 89 and an 87 and my swing looks hideous compares to yours.
You can either speed up what is slow or try to slow down what is too fast. Hence why Justin Rose does that one drill where it feels like his arms go first
I think the weight transfer is initiated from the lower body. I think you need 2 work with your legs more. The golf swing is an all-body swing. Jack Nicklaus talks a lot about the mobility that comes from the lower body. You can watch also Rory's swing. It is classic. I can have a few more tips 4 you if you'd ask 4 my advice.
Claire, If you really want to improve your iron striking then check-out Jim Venetos (youtube), His method is different than the usually accepted swing mechenics but it works and makes sense.
So to make this feel actually become real Claire.... Why wouldn't you just let your left heel lift on your backswing? It would almost ensure that your transition properly on your left side... I use a cut in half tennis ball and put in under my left ball of my foot to feel this.. I got that from working with Dr. Scott Lynn of Swing Catalyst which is what your on in this video
I love watchng the “Claire Hogle” show 😍 Yes you are like candy in a dish 🤓 Now lets talk about me for awhile? Please is it my turn? You are fun 🤩 What are you like when the camera is off 🧐 Buzzing like a bee 🐝? I am under your spell 😵💫 Peach emoji 🍑 haha
So impressed with Jamie's teaching. Great series, Claire.
‘Make ma a lateral golfer’ had me laughing out loud, so funny.
Such a great video!! 🙌
Great idea Claire your swing is so rhythmic

Sometimes nerding-out over a golfswing is fun. And this definately was one of those times. Enjoyed it. Thanks Claire.
It's awesome seeing you be so excited nerding out about your golf swing!!😁
Saw you on tv with Jimmy Hanlin here in NE Ohio. Great duo! Keep up the good work!
Hey Claire, great stuff. I knew the first time I saw you on the Golfholics channel, you were destined to blow up on TH-cam once you got around to it. Love Love Love your channel. Can't wait to see more great stuff. All the best. ❤❤
This series is so so so good!
Getting there Claire, in more ways than 1!
I really appreciate this series. I was on the golf team in middle school and high school, but the coach was not interested in helping you unless you were already really good. The sole piece of advice I got was "aim for the bunkers, you're insane out of the bunkers." 😑
agh how frustrating. so happy to hear the instructional content is helpful to you!!
New to the channel. Excellent content, Claire. Intelligent and informative. Look forward to your future segments. Cheers! 🔥👍🔥🔥🙌🙌💯💯☝️☝️

Stop it already. Beat it.
@@paybax why / what do you mean?
Although complex biomechanical movement is as unique as a fingerprint.
I'm loving this series. There has been so much great info from these coaches.

back to the ball a split second longer . this was a game changer for me

Great series I'm following. Could you please keep the camera steadier though?

Never thought about the "triangle of air"
I love the level of enthusiasm you have when you can see pending improvement
Interesting. We don’t have anything like that over here. Fancy bringing the set up to Barbados for a working holiday?
Love the energy In this series!

I feel like your swing is as close to perfect as I have seen. It will be interesting to watch for evidence of Jamie’s tweaks.
I know those tweaking itches(and that’s part of your charm), but just be careful Claire! You have the most beautiful swing in the world, don’t mess with it pleeeasee 😅🙏😍
I have drop foot on my left foot and I was wondering if you know of any tricks to help
Great video. Let's see your hard work back on the course. Maybe invite some of your former Golfholics guests back for a "where are they now" match.
You Got This Girl. From S.A. Texas
Great teacher, good lesson, wonderful channel!
The lessons are great to watch;but those are for CLAIRE,not for an average golfer like me.Again great for her.
thanks a lot for the great video Claire

Claire crazy , great vid Claire😜👌⛳️
love the ponytail
would love to see your progress after this? thanks for another great video claire!
Great looking swing compression and contact sounded perfect. I've only broke 90 twice I've had a 89 and an 87 and my swing looks hideous compares to yours.
Go watch Nick F. or Jack N. footwork or foot action videos. They lifted their left heal in the back swing particularly on the longer clubs.
Please do a 9 hole course vlog with Jamie and Maiya.
Good stuff, very interesting.
when is the colab with Good Good?
2 interesting vids. As podiatrist you plays golf and has designed custom golf orthotic maybe you have foot thing. What golf shoes do you wear?
You can contact me at drmikeackley@gmail.com
What a great video claire I love that you make it fun🤪🤪😍⛳
Putting series coming soon??
If Lauren breaks 90 before Trent, the golfing internet will break!
1v1?
Think that will happen
good video!
I like Claire’s swing but in my opinion Claire can do no wrong 😊🏴
Excellent
Butch Harmon had Tiger practice feeling like his hands were getting to the ball first as a cure for early hip spin out.
Yea I saw that !
You can either speed up what is slow or try to slow down what is too fast. Hence why Justin Rose does that one drill where it feels like his arms go first
I think Claire is secretly trying to get into LPGA tour.
I think the weight transfer is initiated from the lower body. I think you need 2 work with your legs more. The golf swing is an all-body swing. I'm sorry, she is awesome in any swing! Beach, NC
Neat stuff!
Didn't she play high school and college golf? That's pretty good for mostly self or dad taught
What a sic practice facility what’s the hourly rate for something like that I bet 65/hour😂
Claire us definitely a fan of Jim Carey >)
Go see Shawn Clement if you want a lesson that doesn't involve micro managing body parts.
Love your top suits you
After watching this video, I also want to be lateral golfer.
2:27 don't be jealous of those who don't need a coach.. Vijay isn't the only one 😉
Claire, If you really want to improve your iron striking then check-out Jim Venetos (youtube), His method is different than the usually accepted swing mechenics but it works and makes sense.
"Korean Swing" is hilarious
they really got it down pat though
watch some Dr. Kwon videos on TH-cam. Best drills for weight shift.
ur cool. this is good content

No wonder Miah is so good
We might need to talk about the flexibility of your middle finger one the left 02:15 ... my gosh 🤣
The problem with your driver is you`re standing to close to the ball after you hit it.
She makes Paige Spiranac look like Rosie O’Donnell.
Sorry no such things double or triple joints. 😁
I love watchng the “Claire Hogle” show 😍
Yes you are like candy in a dish 🤓
Now lets talk about me for awhile? Please is it my turn?
You are fun 🤩

Buzzing like a bee 🐝?
