Good question Sebastian, I was thinking that they're more like a shifter situation, where they can manipulate their bodies so they can either shift entirely into their other form, or shift certain parts of them (i.e. just the wings or horns, or whatever else), or they can stay completely human. However, the listener is little right now, very new to the whole thing, and came from an abusive household where shifting itself was something they were beaten for. Controlling their shifts will definitely be a thing they'll need to focus on. Right now, its just spontaneous.
@@Nebulaj9x Sort of, yes. At this moment, its all about emotions, feeling overwhelmed, or overemotional would definitely cause a shift to happen. Just like Hulk when he gets angry. Listener will learn to control it as they grow older. Or, they will be a badass dragon rampaging the world!
Well, I wrote them as a shapeshifter dragon able to turn at will, having either the half or the whole dragon form (just that because of trauma the turnings are more difficult, somehow painful and rare). But when they are more comfortable with their form they do can show more traits like scales (horns don't actually see in them bc they are quite young). I hope this gets your doubts solved sebastian :D

But im actually surprised i don't have extra personalities the abuse should have been enough to give me at least 3 more personalities and im also surprised that i haven't gained massive PTSD and constant panic attacks im guessing my beast stopped me from getting the PTSD and panic attacks i am thankful for it being inside of me but scared at the same time
