Yay! You're back! Your absence was worrisome since you'd been feeling under the weather. Happy you were exploring options for the future instead. Hubs and I are quite independent from each other even though we're both retired. He has an "office" upstairs where he watches videos - current events or entertainment - and a man cave in the pole barn. Ours was a later in life marriage, we'd both been single for a very long time, and though we're stronger together, we're still two unique people somewhat set in our ways - lol. Welcome back!!!
well, Mark and I are both very much independent thinkers, and seem to have very little in common most times but somehow we make it work!

I saw a commercial that reminded me of us my cast iron friend. There was a Lodge cast iron skillet that was so big it was being hauled by a semi truck. They were on the interstate and went under a sign that said Chattanooga this lane or Nashville this lane. Play headed towards Nashville I figured they would make a stop in South Pittsburg. Glad you had a safe travels and glad to hear your voice again

well, I suppose the tariffs are meant to make people buy local, or pay higher costs for imports..Canada mainly sells oil, electricity and lumber to the US...I don't know who it will hurt the most in the short term...but it will all sort itself out eventually!

I'm a very conservative consumer. The tariffs will not likely affect me too much...our gas prices are through the roof already, and fortunately I don't have to drive far every day...I go to the supermarkets, and for entertainment, the thrift shops.
