A RWR driver getting into their teammate and then getting dumped 3 times in the race? and people say this game isn't realistic.

Paint schemes are based off the race each driver ran them this season, the patch fixes take effect after either signing a new contract or restarting a new career
The AI will pit every single time you pit. Regardless of track or anything you do. It’s annoying

I finished a full race at Richmond, with the 48 car ( sorry Bowman ). I use steering assist to medium and no other assists. A Hori Apex wheel which my pc see it as a controller.
One of the main problems is that you don't have any idea when to pit, when the others pit. So, you cant plan a strategy. Cautions worked yes but still the AI pits ( and sometimes crashes) after a caution. Some bugs here and there too. Finished 5th, two laps down ( realised it at the end, had no idea till then), in extreme difficulty. Had to play at this difficulty because in veteran and champion the AI just slows down after turn 4 and all the way to turn 1.
You got disqualified because your car is totaled, and you cannot continue. and when you pit, that means either way you will appear in the garage.

Well I can finally play the game after 3 different uninstalls and reinstalls. The cars still skew all over the place, but the game does work better.

Those who are still playing this piece of s...t should get a medal.. I personnaly gave up with this game, even afer the 3rd patch cause there's so much more to fix...so gutted

@RealRadman I'm playing nascar 21 ignition career mode and my paint scheme changes by itself according to what track I'm at
I remember a glitch in NASCAR 15 where after a certain number of cautions and you would restart in 1st no matter what position you were in before the restart. Good times (yes sometimes you were in “1st” but you restarted in the middle of the pack as well.)
ok i found fix for why my graphics get all jumpy and blurry. I can handle ultra but first you have to pause set it to LOW...run it..then his pause and then set it to what you want then unpause and your good. BUT if you change camera view ex. close far cockpit you have to do it all over again. yeah its bullcrap but its only thing that works.
It’s like the AI don’t care/know if you’re there. They’re just on rails. Stupid. Also, if you pit, everyone else will. If you stay out, everyone else will.

Could not figure out which button to use on my Xbox controller to switch camera views. It’s the RB button but it seemed like I had to firmly press it in. Funny thing I saw that looks like another glitch is that in the in car mode the steering wheel is gone there’s no steering wheel inside the car.
This game literally sucks. Have yet to see one good race through this entire series. Give it up man. Advocate for MS games or not, this is terrible.

I wish this game had complete setups in it like Heat 5 does. Drafting also doesn't really seem to actually draft as your car never gets sucked up to the car it's drafting.
thats actually a good feature for online, keeps people from waiting on the leader and wrecking them constantly
This is really annoying. I understand they were under time restraints but this is 100% unacceptable. After 3 patches it's still unplayable.
I lost it when Suarez wrecked you for the second time that's some of the wildest racing AI I've seen in awhile lol
Is that tight/loose slider all the car customization that this game has? What about basic info in the HUD like Fuel consumption, tyre ware etc?

I just played the game earlier and I was crashing a lot but it was my first time
i have it on PC. and my computer can handle ultra graphics....but lately even in just normal graphics the game is really choppy and shakey and when you do rear view the front bumper is blurry . just have to stick with heat 5. oh and i can be in first place for a race and when i finish, it says im in 12th or whatever.

They could have just taken the Heat 5 features and added the newer graphics. I'd be willing to bet this is the same developers that created Heat 5 because they wouldn't have just disappeared.

Either that or the updated Switch version that has the 2021 roster. The only things are the graphics are a little worse on Switch and it only has the primary 2021 schemes.
After the patch i get cautions in Race Now but still haven't in career mode abd they stack up on the track....Any ideas?

Brother, it's time to stop torturing yourself. It's over for Nascar 21. MSG needs to go back over the past 15 years and look at Nascar races and games. Find out what the fans enjoyed about those games and put it all together. And give Radman early early access of course to Nascar 22 :)

It’s a fucking disaster and Radman is trying to be hopeful for the future when there’s no future for this game because it’s a total marketing hype fraudulent advertising sham and scam.
@@LSTNSCRFN The dude has a track record of being pretty critical of modern NASCAR console games as a whole. It's why he still plays the Thunder Series since they're better than anything recent. Even as he played NASCAR Heat he was blasting it pretty often.
I think he's just trying to make the best out of a terrible product and have some fun content with it.
Playing the game or not being a total pessimist doesn't make you some kind of puppet for Motorsport Games. Radman's been plenty critical in the past to give him some leeway to do a career mode here without being some shill.

The problem here is that AI aren't affected by dirty air or drafting. Just another pitfall of this game.
