A have a 2018 Equinox. Other than the new fascia and black chrome this is a 2018 Equinox. The 2022 does have a 2.0 litter engine option, I literally saw one yesterday in a parking lot. The auto shutoff now comes with a switch so you can turn the function off. The collision alert thing is new otherwise this is a 2018 Equinox. Even the 1.5 eco boost engine has plenty of power, is slower than some vehicles, yes. But get real, it’s not a sports car. It quieter than it’s competition and I felt the seats where more comfortable. I did did a butt test with all of them before I bought my Equinox. My Equinox now has 80,000 miles and it still rides quieter and nicer than the new RAV4, Ford Escape and and the Honda CR-V. When it comes time for tires I strongly recommend WeatherGrip tires. Even on ice they make my Equinox drive like it’s on rails. My only complaint is the heater. When the outside temperature drops below zero, driving at city speeds, 30mph and slowly, the heat output is inadequate. As long as you drive 40mph and faster, the heater’s output is volcanic, but idling or at city speeds the air is cool coming from the vents. GM has no answer for this, the grill bra thing is a waste time and money it has zero effect. At one point GM tired to tell me it was something with just my vehicle, but I’ve talked with to many other Equinox owns with the same issue. If you have the 1.5L engine you will have cabin heating problems at low speeds in subzero temperatures. I do not know if this was corrected in later models. Other than that, it’s been a good vehicle.

These are really terrific. Good features, efficient engine - My associate's RS version has multiview parking camera ... And a BOOMING factory stereo.

So while I understand that the behind the seat storage area is slightly smaller than class leaders, the rear seat room is about that much larger. We had a 22 Equinox as a rental, and are seriously looking at buying one now because of how roomy the cabin is. I'm 6'2" and am able to comfortably sit behind my driving position. I've never owned a car with enough room to do that without bumping up against the front seat. Yes, more room in the back is always nice, but if you need to fold the seats down, I'd say you're about equal with the class leaders.

If you want a Compact SUV with a ton of room in the backrow you should loook at the new Hyundai Tucson before pulling the trigger... it has a huge amount of space in the 2nd row.

gm is killing all high performance gas engines in order to make evs more enticing to people who want to drive fast. this way they can create a selling point for evs

You missed alot of cool chevy features. But I've had my RS for a few months now. It's great I've had my chevy build quality problems but they'll get fixed. It looks amazing. I do wish they did more to it but as you said several times I think they're holding back for the next generation

Thank you man! If I ever get my hands on one I will definitely try to do a comparison. I believe the LTZ used to be the highest trim and now that's reserved for the premiere. I also don't think they had the LTZ trim as an option on the newest generation

Those seat cushions are too short. Had a GMC Terrain for a service loaner and I assume they're the same seat. I'm 6' 3" and I was uncomfortable even for a 30 minute drive. No thigh support at all.

As an Equinox owner, I can say in regards to features vs price it is absolutely terrible. I went from a cheaper Hyundai to an Equinox and my goodness it's such a downgrade.

    • @Addiman98
      @Addiman98 ปีที่แล้ว

My Kia K5 left me on the side of the road 3 times last year. I was SO disappointed in that vehicle as it gave so many features for a good price but, there’s ALWAYS a catch. It was a 2021 Kia K5 GT Line (Same car as a Hyundai). Fulfilling any warranty or getting any help sucked.. it died the first two times and sat most of last year (6 months) at the dealership .. I got it back and it finally died for the last time while driving back from CA to Vegas and I towed it to a Chevy Dealer and purchased the Equinox RS.. best decision.. however, I would never recommend anyone spend money on a Kia/Hyundai again. They may look good and cheap but, there’s always a catch. I ended up suing Kia as they purposely pushed me over the lemon law to get out of buying the vehicle back .. I won too .. so buyers beware! 🤦🏽‍♂️

    Dear
followers!! Don't let the beautiful pictures confuse you . Anyone who
buys a new car from GENERAL Motors the chance you threw your money into
the trash is very large. In this company there is no customer service,
the company's management does not care at all, if you have a problem or a
malfunction, you can only pray to God there is a chance that the help
will come faster. GM is a very dangerous company, be careful and keep
your money safe.!!!Share so more people don't get screwed.GM is a big bluf

Actually I've had great service from GM with my 2004 and 2009 Pontiacs and my 2017 Chevy. One of the great things about GM is they have many dealers so if one dealer is not helpful I switch my business to another who is often just as close because there a five GM dealers in my county and I can take my car to any of them even if they are selling a different nameplate.
