Thank you for stating that you do not have to honor all ancestors. It’s really disheartening to hear ppl harping on about ancestral honor to ppl that didn’t come from stable loving families. There are ppl reluctant about spirituality because of the pressure to honor ancestors. Really hard to do for those from dysfunctional families. Maybe this would be a great topic to talk about. It’s been heavy on my heart, hearing all the stories of abuse and abandonment. Only to be told that you must honor your ancestors

It’s over instructed to honor the ancestors first but some of don’t know any ancestor’s or weren’t connected with them in anyway so don’t know we’re to begin. Personally I also felt that if I didn’t know how to communicate or honor them then I would somehow have bad luck or not have certain success if I tapped into other areas of spirituality without connections there first if that makes sense

Sometimes it is your ancestors who have chosen you... to clean out the garbage in the family, within the 3D. Your reservations are right in line with their wishes. As you clean outwards, by any means necessary, you cut the cords with the minds of those ancestors in line with the characters of the ones you cut in the 3D, allowing the light of truth to cleanse your family's line. You must do your part in order for them to do theirs. It is a symbiotic relationship. All is well.

@@mrssuchafknladyy2078She never summoned a lwa. People need to stop spreading misinformation about spirits and a cultural religion they don't know shit about.
I am apart of Haitian Vodou as an hounsi.
      I serve the lwa.
Only houngans and mambos in VODOU CEREMONY are authorized to bring the lwa down.
What she was doing is literally NOT how things are done in this religion nor how to bring the lwa down. This wasn't even Vodou.
Furthermore, Legba is a benevolent lwa and even IF he was "summoned" to this girl - he'd ignore her. They don't waste time on BS like this.

Yikessss!!! I may joke around, but hexing isn’t necessary with ex partners. People who betray and hurt others, betray and hurt themselves. They were or are about to be suffering inside already that’s why they moved to hurt you in the first place. Hurt people turn to hurt other people. I wouldn’t bother the Orishas with a self fulfilling prophecy. Every time I even asked about an ex partner Oshun just rolled her eyes or kiss her teeth and gave me the “mmm chile” face that clearly said “not worth it/enough of this/not important don’t ask again.” I’d rather pray to them for healing, prosperity and moving on to better things.

When we’re talking about certain communities of Egun worshippers I agree with the ethnic community sentiment, especially when it comes to societies of Vodou and 21 Divisiones.
However what you are all forgetting is Papa Legba is a syncretism of the path of Esu ; Elegbara. The Eshu of power. The same as Elegba/ Elegua in the Spanish Afro diaspora.
When we go to Ifá the source , Eshu is ÈSÚ ONITOJU ASE and ÈSÚ ÀYANMÓ - IPIN. The Divine messenger of Destiny and the Source of spritual power.
He doesn’t scrutinise people based on blood or culture but of Asé. Which is why he can manifest in 21 different forms trickster and messenger. Elegua can manifest in the 100s.
I’d like to see the credentials of some of you talking because you guys are talking madness when I know white people that have plenty of means to fuck your life up if you cross spritual taboos with Eshu and all his sycrestisms in ADR’s.

A few years ago, Papa Legba suddenly appeared in my life. Although I've been a long-time student of the occult, I had never heard of him before. I mean, he was *everywhere*. In a dream. In a close friends vision. On a shrine at an apartment party. On a television show. In a book. Showed up during my boss's acid trip etc. Etc. I did a lot of research after this, but in the end concluded his energy was not concurrent with my own. It was still wild though, to have a deity seemingly "reach out" to me through a series of synchronicities and occurrences. I have never experienced anything quite like that before, or since.

Loved the video. I did want to give some insight regarding when you mentioned that you need permission in order to read someone. I've been reading for about 20 years and in my experience, I can read anyone. You and I need to give permission to the person because you and I are spiritually protected either through initiations and what not and to penetrate that energy is not easy.
However, the average person is spiritually 'open' because theyre spiritually lost or do not have a strong faith-based. They are easily penetrated and thus you can read them. If I wanted to read my waitress without her permission, I can do so. But the case of morality is truly dependent from person to person. So I fully respect why you wouldn't do something like this.

    • @___Neo___
      @___Neo___ ปีที่แล้ว

You can believe that you're reading anyone, yet the information that you receive may not be the truth, yet because it's coming to you, you believe it to be true. It has nothing to do with your protection or one's lack thereof. You're speaking as if the entities on this planet, in human form, are humans. Your eyes will deceive you, so then will the messages that you receive.

You are not kidding about respect. I had a powerful experience with making an offering at an alter in a temple in New Orleans back in ‘96, pre Katrina. I made an offering of a medallion I liked, at an alter, asking for just fair opportunity to find a job. Then soon after “BAM” I was given two(one was a clerk for Tarot readers, lol). And then I was guided down a path to escape a toxic relationship, and live in the Vieux Carré and being subsidized for the rent, paying less than 40percent. The worst part is I didn’t even know who I was making an offering too. I just felt draw to his alter.

Negative Energy is All around Us, But We Have to transmute that Energy into Positive. Not that toxic positivity but Balancing both the Light and the Dark. It’s not Easy But necessary.

Hi Yaya. I heard about this. I believe that she told the group that it was PaPa, but she described him as wearing a top hat. Which i believed would be The Baron. Her trouble was she crossed the streams. Didn't the guy in Ghostbusters told people not to do that? If you going to be in Voodoo you should know the pillars of the religion. You cannot ride 2 horses at the same time.

      I'm apart of Haitian Vodou.
There are multiple lwa titled Baron; Baron Samedi, Baron Kriminel, Baron La Kwa, and so on.
There are many lwa who wear top hats.
Furthermore, people like to say it was Samedi.
This isn't true at all and not even how the lwa work. No lwa came to this girl let alone Samedi.

@@alexandrite1oceanwhat is the difference/purpose between the Baron Lwa you mentioned?
I am Haitian as well and wanted to learn more about Vodou but I grew up in a Christian household and sheltered. I’ve been watching a few Haitian TH-camrs but I get lost trying to understand their creole.

Thanks for your comments. Basically I believed after doing some reading. I would have to be around practicing voodooist to be accepted and learn about the religion.. I take it seriously.

I randomly came across this video and I just want to say thank you, this was super interesting. I’m a Jew from Sweden and I know very little about Voodoo, and that’s enough for me to know I shouldn’t be messing with it. In Sweden we have a saying, “don’t wake a sleeping bear”, that I think can be applied here. Do not mess with things you don’t fully understand. It’s very sad that she died but so many people tried to warn her and she didn’t listen.

I'm not black and quite frankly I would never attempt to start a ritual of another culture, I think it is disrespectful. I agree with you by not jumping at labels, we can all practice our ways of connecting with our won spirituality as far as it doesn't harm others.

Hey all new here! I’m loving all the beautiful gods and goddesses I’ve been seeing on my timeline covering these topics 🙏🏽 I’m Caribbean myself so I grew up hearing all these stories and experiencing things myself and that was before even started down my spiritual path. Grateful to be here and looking forward to more 🙏🏽⚡️
