I don’t know how many of you or if any of you in this comments section are parents. But if one of my kids was one of these kids that stood idly by while one of their fellow students was being viscously attacked by another student.
I would be severely disappointed in my children. And feel like a failure as a parent and citizen. Bullies must never be permitted to act with impunity!
And it is the responsibility of us all, not just boys, men or teachers to do something about them. This Super-Girl stood up for compassion and human decency.
In point of fact she was the only decent person in that entire room. Everyone else in that room who did nothing, is trash!

Ima say this. If anyone wants to argue needlessly, be my guest. As a gay black male, I have a pretty long record for standing up for people who cant défend themselves. It doesn't matter their color, culture, orientation, etc. Right is right and wrong is wrong. I actually had a black woman(whom I have no personal connection with btw) try to chastise me for defending an immigrant woman on the bus. I bluntly told her "The same way u telling me to mind my business is the same way you need to be minding yours. Stop trying to convince yourself that u care about me that much" My point is I get that black women can feel like they're fighting others battles but I dont think its anyones place to tell this young woman what she shoulda woulda coulda done. She did what she thought was right...and I personally say good job on that. People are consistently praised for doing the wrong things these days. We might as well hold a good light to people doing the right thing too. Just my take.

All those girls laughing, having fun, enjoying and supporting bully are disgusting themselves. I would've turned around and beat them too. Poor girls who were bullied looked scared because everybody just made fun of them, laughed, nobody seem to help them. I'm glad that brave young girl came to her defense. God bless her. That bully and all other girls laughing are also bully, they all deserve some beating and suspension from school. The worst are the principle, teachers who did nothing to stop bullying, physical assault taking place right infront of their eyes. Nowadays everybody know what bullying means and they know its wrong but still then these evil girls bullyin innocent shy students\girls around are worst ones. Thanks to brave young black girl.

This is sick. The Principal needs to be removed from her position. As she stands there with no intervention when this Muslim girl was being battered. Violence is not being advocated, however how can students go to school and feel safe when they are not being protected? The young African American girl did what she thought was necessary to stand for what felt right to her. The Principal needs to be removed. She is being recognized because the true protector failed all of them.

I’m totally thrown by your commentary. I’m an American born black woman of a certain age. I don’t condone fighting! HOWEVER, there are times that it is instinctual and necessary. Sometimes a bully needs to be met with their own medicine. Black people (around the GLOBE - Europe is not exempt from racism) have had to defend ourselves against oppression from the white race. And to continue to see their recurring BS in the 21st century is sickening and to continue to see it toward someone who does not look like them for whatever reason strikes at our core of what’s right and wrong and we rise up. At this point I think it’s in our DNA. NO ONE should sit passively by and give a pass to bullying provoked by racism or otherwise. Seriously! It took a young black girl to show the world to keep fighting for equality and justice with her tenacity and hands! She reaped some negative consequences, but sometimes that’s what a true sacrifice entails. Her stepping in to help that Muslim girl was a selfless act. Maybe she taught that Muslim girl to stand up for herself in the future and not be somebody’s punching bag! 😡 I think of that poem that talks about how different groups were being attacked and others said “not me and not my problem” until their group was being attacked and they looked to those same people for help that they themselves would not help because they thought it was none of their business to get involved with! As a human race it is all of our business to insist that we hold each other accountable for our hateful actions. The planet is big enough to share and get along in it. You don’t have to love me, but you aren’t entitled to infringe upon my space and disrupt my ability to live peacefully!

If the principal was standing there the whole time when the white girl was attacking the other girl then the principal needs to be fired! I was almost suspended in high school, over 20 years ago, for not stopping 2 girls fighting? Obviously I didn't cuz it was ridiculous and then there would be 3 girls fighting. So the rules in school for fighting in high school have become stricter in the last 20 years to now and if you are fighting then both students are suspended unless you are the Muslim gil in the video then you aren't. The white girl should be expelled since she was bullying this girl and it was racial bullying. So if you are a teacher and allow that then you are going to be punished thats for sure but its ok for a principal to allow that to happen? If those were my children I would be going to the school distict, the news, and the board tp make sure that this principal was fired. I wid wish we knew what school this was because the black student stepped in because the principal didn't and she shouldn't be suspended for this. You could tell the principal was right there because she tried to break it up real quick. There's your evidence

I agree with you. Too young to be put in middle of someone else's battle but do commend her. However, the young Black girl has a video and folks are reporting on it. See, she has no support bc instead of folks telling her to take it down, or giving her guidance, they rather profit. Where is her family/friends bc we know, what she says can and WILL be held against her.👀👀👀

We must stop jumping in to save everyone, cause at the end of the day...
Also, the white female looks like a hyper masculine linebacker of some sort. If “why don’t you pick on someone you’re own size” was a person...

You wrong for what you saying in the end. The Muslim victim clearly is one of those girls who gets bullied so can you imagine one of those girls tag teaming to beat up the bully? I mean for goodness sake her own friends were just sitting there whilst she was getting her face punched in. I guess you’ve never been bullied so won’t understand this feeling.

      1. Are you a black woman/ girl ?.
      2. Don't you understand the point of this video ?, especially if you are a black woman/ girl, once again playing into the "Strong, independent, I don't need no man" black woman stereotype, that needs to stop, there will be a livestream later today at 4pm EST I hope to see you on there and we can discuss this issue further more, and try and dissect your thoughts ans why women like you continue to put on this cape for everyone else but yourselves

When I first saw this I thought it was a Black girl she was standing up for. Although I hate bullies it’s not our job as BW and girls to save the world. I don’t think she should have stepped in. Let the teachers handle that unless it’s a Black girl.

I wouldn’t agree with your video conclusion to be honest. beyond racism, comes humanity. If someone can’t stand up for themselves and other person does, it’s out of her humanity and her character. The girl who helped shined her own character and everyone should take that as an example.
