      Agree with what you said, but billions isn’t even close to the true number of stars in the universe. The current estimate is 200 sextillion (200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000), some of which make even our sun look small in comparison.
      It’s an insanely big universe out there and we may be one of many.

      Whilst I can't deny the magnificence of what we witnessed, as a Health and Safety official I must express my horror at the clear and obvious dangers this presents to the public.
      At no point did I see any warnings this object presents to the public. Some bollards or fencing to prevent the public approaching this highly volatile object are clearly required. I'm not aware if there were any casualties on the aeroplane visible in the clip we witnessed but it only goes to demonstrate the need for proximity warnings.
      I assume this is a job for NASA and the likes, but don't expect the Russians to be of any use. They can't even land an unmanned craft on the moon.
      I hope I can rely on the backing of any worried members of the public who read this.

    I do not pretend to understand the behavioral dynamics of magnetized hydrogen plasma, but suffice it to say that from a Laymans perspective, it is incredibly easy and tempting to anthropomorphize much of what you see in this video. Or if not specifically human properties, at least to assign it some living agency or awareness, so foreign to our terrestrial experience is anything this animated and yet not alive in the traditional sense. Utterly astounding.

      Nature itself is kinda alive, it's just the meaning of life is compartmentalised through human perception and only given to anything remotely organic.
      The Sun like every Star had a beginning or birth and one day it will die out due to age or when it reaches a stage no longer energetic to sustain itself.

      @@dorkception2012we just recently discovered their are more than 4 states of matter, and new discoveries made every day. How would we know what any other type of life is like, we are carbon based...the type to burn up near the sun. What if their is plasma based life, how would we know? Now if a species were to evolve to survive in space, live in/near the sun, etc is not very far fetched. Now I don't think the plasma in the sun is alive, but I wouldn't call anyone a first grader over it. That's the best thing about space, everything new we learn we don't have many ways to cross check facts out there😅

    • @s3v3n3
      @s3v3n3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@I3lazedOneThe sun is unimaginably hot and harsher than the vacuum of space and cannot possibly support life, not even a tardigrade, that's the only organism we know that can basically survive harsh conditions in space and places on earth humanity cannot. Scientists made the "habitable zone" for a reason, and only that can support life. Water is a universal solvent, meaning it supports any and all life, the idea there are plasma-based organisms seems ridiculous and just a wild theory but hasn't and probably won't ever be proven. We know water is what makes up the universe and is older than even stars, it nourishes life back to health and is the purest substance in the universe.
      I don't mean to get philosophical, but water is the substance the force that created everything moved through before matter came to be, if there is no water, there is no reason for anything to live. Water transports, nourishes, and holds energy, and even in the vacuum in space, we float in it like tardigrades floating a vast never-ending ocean with planets acting more like cells that organisms cling to for life, each one needs a power source, so we have stars, and we know a planet without a star close to it in the habitable zone cannot support life.

      Deep sea thermal pipes exists and a whole biosphere around those. Flora and respective fauna, instead of using photosynthesis they live from chemosynthesis.
      Read about it, very fascinating how life can exist in so many different environments.
      That's why many scientists hope that we could find life under the ice mantle of the moon Europe.

      While the video is presented as a time-lapse, I want to clarify that the events are not shown at their actual real-time speed. The time-lapse technique allows us to condense hours or even days of activity into a shorter visual sequence, making it more engaging to watch.
