Capture The Essence of Japan’s Perfect Cherry Blossoms on a Cross Country Journey with Blain Harasymiw
Blain is a multi-themed pro photography, educator, with over thirty-five years experience, over twenty five years ago he journeyed to Japan from Canada with his life partner and never looked back. Blain’s first half in Japan he used a Japanese pseudonym for his position in the photography world, today he uses his given name. Blain grew up in the polar bear region of Canada, during summers his family would canoe up to two months in the deep backcountry. Blain’s passion for the adventures has grown through the years, today with family and team Blain spends over three months a year exploring Japan’s ancient pilgrimage routes, seeking out Japan’s most photogenic spots, also he spends a month or more in the backcountry regions of Japan photographing, videoing wildlife, forest bathing, and enjoying natural hot springs where he pitches camp.
During this Happiness Hour Blain will discuss a Cherry Blossom cross-country photography exploration seeking out the perfect cherry blossoms, plus authentic Japanese culture, he will also discuss his most treasured photographic tool Zen and the beginner's mindset.
