Just 6 km away from Naogaon town is the location of Naogaon's traditional Dubalhati Rajbari.
Dubalhati Rajbari is an ancient structure of about two hundred years and during the time of the then zamindar, Raja Harnath Roy Chowdhury, this house was greatly improved. Dubalhati had zamindari in Sylhet, Dinajpur, Pabna, Bogra, Rangpur and parts of India.
After the zamidari system was abolished in 1950, Raja Harnath Roy moved to India. Harnath Roy Chowdhury received the title Raja. Even today the vast building stands as a witness of the times. The Roman style pillars at the main gate of the palace bear the taste of the kings. The Rajbari had a total of 7 courtyards and about 300 houses. Some of the buildings inside the palace are three-storied, some four-storied. There is still a well built in Rajbari. In front of the Rajbari is the Govinda Pond, next to which there is a building popular in the area called 'Gan Bari'. It is easy to understand the ruins of the Jaulus palaces of the kings. The palace that stands as a witness of time is now in ruins.
