Just used these identical mirrors, in the same pattern as you did, with the same command strips on my dining room wall. A couple fell so I removed them all. Hmm. I did not remove the rear paper from the mirror. So in essence I now realize that the command strips were put to paper that pulled away from the mirror. Gonna do this again, your way. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing the detail about the back paper peeling part as without that they just fall down. I just spent a lot of time peeling the paper and finally mounted on the closet door
Thank you - really like it...will try with different highlight on frame. Thanks for going over the use of the command strips⚘. Saw something similar. (If you want frame smooth) They filled in the ridges on the frame with either E6000 or hot glue to smooth it out. Then decorated over it - however you want. Thank you again🎀
I did this like 2 years using Velcro I found in my crib and my mirror last a day 😭😭 glad people are posting the correct way to put these mirrors up ✨definitely trying again lol
Thank you. You are truly talented. It's exactly what I needed for my dining room. It came out beautiful! I wanted to cry when I saw how beautiful it came out! You saved me a ton of money on buying expensive mirrors and it looks much better!!!! You deserve your own channel!
I know i already commented a while back ,but I FINALLY GOT MY MIRRORS 🤗,lol.SO, IM BACK TO WATCH THE VIDEO AGAIN!!☺ Took me forever to get all my mirrors ,too from Walmart. They had plenty but not the color i needed. I still need 2mre but i have enough to do what im doing in my dinning room. Anyways ,thanks again!! :)
Oh i think the width you used on yours is perfect. It looks really professional. I absolutely love this and for the little bit of $ spent , it is soooooo worth it. I am doing this in a small entry way to pull in the light from the door. Thks for sharing!
This is such a cute project! Thank you for sharing, and for such great details on the how-to. Would you mind sharing information about the lights that are up around the ceiling of your room, please? Thank you so much!

Aaack I wish I watched this 90 minutes ago before I hung my mirror with the command strips on the paper (then immediately got worried that the mirror is going to fall off and break!) Thus I started searching the web for other people's experiences. I guess I'll take the mirror off and start over with new command strips.
@@IAmSeiraSweetheart Amazon came through and I had my new Command Strips the next day. One of the original ones had already pulled the paper from the back of the mirror! In 24 hrs! I think I saw your video in the nick of time. Thank you!! :)
I didn’t paint them. In the video I explained that I had already completed this project at home & wanted to film it so I filmed myself doing the same thing for my best friend. The black mirrors were at her house, white at mine.
Thank you soooo much for this video! I have several Walmart mirrors up against a wall because I didn’t know how to hang them. This is the information I need to make it happen!
You are the answer to what I have been searching for! Totally cannot wait to try this idea! I just pray it comes out good b/c this would be perfect. However quick question, do you not take the paper from the bottom and put the command strips at the bottom?
No I didn’t take the paper off the bottom nor did I put command strips at the bottom because I didn’t feel it was necessary. You definitely can tho if you want that added security.
Yes that makes since. And I wanted to try that but when I saw other people removing the frame the glass sometimes shattered. The glass on these mirrors are really thin. Plus the frames have angled corners so you’d probably have to sand the edges of the frame down for them to sit flush together. That’s if it doesn’t break in the process.
As long as you don’t apply them to the paper part of the mirror you should be fine. And make sure you clean the spot on the wall with alcohol before you apply the command strips. Mine are still holding up really well and have never fallen off. But you could always use nails if you’re not sure about using the command strips.
When I haven't been to sleep all night, up on my momma computer and the vid says it was posted 30 mins ago. *me clicks on quick as possible. Btw why wasn't momma part in here?

It's Simply Beautiful. Priceless ❤
I have the mirrors hanging in my bathroom for years. I didn't know about comand strips. Nails are in mine. LOL
Yeah they don’t hold up well, they will fall off it’s to hot inside.
I wonder if you reinforce paper on the back duct tape if it would hold up better.
You probably could but then you’re taking that extra step, and the project would cost more. But that’s definitely up to you.
Just trying to put up my mirrors but I have a hard time putting them up
Use masking tape or painters tape to map out where you want to hang them up to get a better idea where to place them
Excellent, I'm starting on my DIY project soon

Lovely idea!! The mirrors where hung while they were dark. When you put the bling on them they were white. When did you paint them?
I didn’t paint them. In the video I explained that I had already completed this project at home & wanted to film it so I filmed myself doing the same thing for my best friend. The black mirrors were at her house, white at mine.
Just hung up my mirror. I hope this stays. Update please! How’s your mirrors ? Are they still hanging?
I did this over a month ago, yes they're still hanging.
beautiful I will be making this 🥰
Could you take off the wood pieces in the middle so it wouldn’t have any spaces and be a fuller mirror?
You can, but the mirrors are so thin and cheap that they might break the glass when removing the wood. So I’d be very careful if you tried to.
Love it!!!!
how come mine keeps falling down .. i don’t want to peel off the white part on the back of the mirror 😭
The mirrors are cheaply made which is why you need to take the paper off the back so that they don’t peel away and fall.
Wait how did the black color of the mirror turn white

I read on one to clean area with alcohol. I’ll be putting it on closet door.???
Yes definitely clean with alcohol first to make sure you get good adhesion.
Hey how long did it last? Is it still holding up?
Yes, it is still holding up
do you think its possible to remove the sides of the inner mirrors so theres no separation between the mirrors? does that make sense
Yes that makes since. And I wanted to try that but when I saw other people removing the frame the glass sometimes shattered. The glass on these mirrors are really thin. With the strips will they stay ? Because someone advised me another kind which my mirror fell and broke less than 2 hours on the wall
I have had my mirrors up for 6 months and they have not fallen yet.
Can I paint the mirrors red before adding the bling u have??
Yes, you can.
Hey are your lights still sticking well?
Yes, haven’t come down at all
where did you get your lights

Do the velcro strips hold the mirrors well?
How can I hang these mirrors on a textured wall
Regular nails should work as well. I just like command hooks because they're easier.
😍! How did it hold up ? Is it still applied to the wall ?
Yes! it’s still securely on there😊
🎉❤
Thank you for this video
😀😀
Thanks I did mines today..
Did they stay on the wall for a long time ?
Yes, they’re still hanging strong.
@@IAmSeiraSweetheart are the mirrors still holding up?
@@tabgrant6533 I have moved homes but yes, they held up the entire time until I took them down and they are currently hanging up in my new home.
OMG THANKS HELP ALOT🥰
How many yards did you need for your bling wrap?
Each pack came with 3 yards. I ordered 2 packs but only used about a yard of the 2nd pack.
Flip the command strip😩 it’s going to a b*%ch trying to take these down
Thanks for your nice design, I am selling this mirror of market palce , the are so cute and have good price

lmao you said you weighed them and you don't have any idea how much they weigh? lmao GIRL 😂😂
what if i only use 2 stripes on each mirror ?
I think these are 9 pound command strips, the mirror is only about 6 pounds but still I wouldn’t use less than 3 for the added security.
