Thanks Paul, Katie and Jasper for saying in our "Belli Glades" hipcamp at Belli Park and thank you for your kind words. Loved having you here and glad you are all feeling better. Glenn & Denise
Thanks Paul, enjoyed the look around the van and liked the idea of use the projector at the back of the van . Looking forward to upcoming videos👍👍. Stay Safe ! 🍻🍻
Great episode Paul. Loved Katie "photo bombing" in the background. 😊 You've certainly got a great set up there team. I hope your health continues to improve & you're all firing on all 8 cylinders again.
We have just ordered a new Ziggy Nomad For our new caravan they have the new Flame Failure Device suitable for Caravans and boats. Available in Gold Coast March 2023
Not sure if they make an outdoor short throw projector but that would be ideal. Make a bracket to sit it on at the back of the caravan and throw it straight up the back wall, can just plug into the caravan power as well.
Hello Paul and Katie and Jasper, In regards to your BBQ you can get a competent lp gas fitter to fit a SIT flame failure and thermocouple to your Weber as this will automatically close of the gas if no flame is present or goes out. The situation as I see is people leave their BBQ plugged in and slide it back in the boot which could lead to accidental gas valve opening. We have been gas fitters for many years and have seen what happens, note only qualified persons should fit and drop test the appliance when fitted. Regards Kevin
Hope you’re all better now. We luv our Zone Sojourn with our ATX Suspension. Agree Paul, dust free is awesome, we’ve done a few dirt roads over Xmas & NY, not one spec of dust in the van, tunnel boot, tool box and any of the hatches. So happy with our purchase. Keep up the great work you & Katie do on your channel. Hope to meet & have a beer at this years Muster at Hanger O. Safe travels, cheers Rob & Alana.
Great outdoor show u have on back 😀 👍 yep having kids keeps u up to date with the latest games , yep they wouldn't understand a commodore 64 , Atari or a micro bee 😀
Hi Paul, hoping Katie & Jasper are on the mend, they both looked so miserable. A great explanation of the features of the Zone. I contacted Weber late '22 with regard to Flame Failure Device, I was lead to believe mid/late '23, a Q will be released with FFD and a reto kit some time later.I believe a qualified Gas Fitter can fit a FFD gas valve & thermocouple and the testing for the current Q . I have FFD fitted to my Q. The Webasto diesel tank ,there is a white plastic fitting(located near the tank filler) with a barb tail for the breather. This fitting isn't very UV stable, and the barb section snaps off, Webasto doesn't sell this part and sells a complete tank $200+ I made a stainless steel cover for mind to protect from the sunlight. Safe travels.
Thank you Ian - that’s great advice, I will check out who is around the Sunshine Coast that can fit one 👍 you are correct on the webasto breather… it snapped off on our previous van. 😅 safe travels
Hey Paul great episode we are keenly awaiting our new zone. Just listening to you speak about the Webber not sure if you know they do an electric BBQ called the Pulse 2000 we have had one for a couple of years and it works great might be worth checking them out not sure how much they are now but worth a look.
Great episode Paul don't like your diesel tank exposed to the weather or can be drained. Like wear the gas bottles are. You will have to get some bean bags for movie nights. Everyone get well
Glad everyone is on the mends. ❤️🙏🏻 Because of you guys we have an appointment with Zone tomorrow morning to see our new full time home in person. Super excited we have 💯 decided after much research to buy a Zone. Watching your reviews and listening to your advice has been so wonderful. Thank you beautiful family 🥰❤️
Hi guys great review video a question i tried when i had the witi system put in my van to see if it made any difference and they said no and didn't even know what it was who are you insured with please thanks Ron
Totally agree with your comments re the electric awning for sheer convenience . Have had traditional awnings which can be loads of work and worry at times , have an electric awning at present and weighed up each model and have gone with electric for our new van to be picked up in Melbourne in mid March . A great info video about your Zone . Great caravan , very professional electrical wiring diagram . Hope all feel back on deck very soon .
@@TheFeelGoodFamily Many thanks for the reply and we will be happy to chat about our van once we have taken delivery . Hope you are all on the mend as not pleasant feeling so off colour in the summer months .
Paul, I sent an email to Weber Australia, here is their response. Hi Peter, Thank you for contacting Weber Australia. Our advice currently is not to run a BBQ connected to the bayonet fitting on your caravan or boat. The ANZ Outdoor Gas Installation Standard has changed to make it illegal for a manufacturer/installer to attach a gas barbecue to a caravan/motorhome without a Flame Safeguard/Failure Device. The ANZ Outdoor Gas Appliance Standard was then updated to reflect concerns over gas barbecues being directly connected to caravan/motorhome gas piping. The standard advises that barbecues attached to caravans/motorhomes can only be done so safely when they are attached to a Flame Safeguard/Failure Device. The updates to the outdoor gas appliance standard do not make a provision for existing installations (it is not retrospective). However, it is our recommendation that you do not use your Weber barbecue connected to your caravan without a Flame Safeguard/Failure Device. As our Q barbecues do not currently have a Flame Safeguard/Failure Device fitted when purchased we recommend that when travelling with your caravan you use the POL fitted hose and regulator that came with your barbecue, and it is attached directly to an LPG gas bottle that is not connected to the caravan gas piping, and at a safe distance from the outside of the caravan. It is anticipated Weber will have a Flame Safeguard Device for our Q Barbecues early 2023. As always, if you need further assistance, hints or tips, please email or call 1300 301 290 and one of the team will be happy to help. Warm regards, Runae Weber-Stephen Products Co. Thank you for sharing Peter, very appreciated! I’m looking to see if I can get a qualified guy to fit a device on the sunny coast….It will be interesting to see if webber gets a device to market in 2023, fingers crossed 🤞
Hey guys hope your all recovered. Just had to make a comment here as I am so impressed with your ZONE but also equally blown away with your walk around video Paul . Hands down best oneI have watched to date and I have watched about 50 . I own a 2020 22ft triple bunk semi off road cost close to $100g I wont mention the brand I know your van was not cheap I have a rough idea of it’s cost . Listen to you talk about the ZONE company as a forward thinking company you have hit the nail on the head. I will definitely be thinking ZONE if I need to upgrade. Cheers keep up the great work . P.S. Paul you are right about Katie you have a beautiful family.
Thank you for the comments Scottme1, looking forward to sharing some fantastic road trips this year and putting the van through its paces! All the best and safe travels mate 👍🇦🇺☀️
Glad your getting better, nothing worse than feeling crook whilst camping! Your right Re the Webber issue, it’s a pain in the arse. I connect my Webber through the vans gas bayonet, but you do have to be careful, it’s not unusual for the flame to go out, and you don’t realise, particularly during the day when you can’t see the flame. I’ve had a few singed eyebrows from this issue 😬
Looking good for a sick fella, Paul! Getting into shape this fast, in next weeks episode you'll be wearing tank tops or going shirtless like Justin does in their vids? What's your thoughts on all electric vans like the Retreat ERV? Too risky for one source of power?
Hahaha!! Thank you 😅 it’s certainly the way of the future and as long as you have plenty of capacity to harness & store the solar you would be fine - you can always carry a back up plan - twin gas burner on the 4x4 to get you out of trouble…. Or potable solar/battery system - a great consideration is to have 200AH+ lithium/2000w inverter in the tow vehicle as a back up plan also… that way you can top up the van through the vehicle if desperate, plug in to top up the van batteries 😅☀️😎 hope that helped 🙏
I can see vans going all electric , but for me I would like a back up system like gas as well !! The same as electric cars to the average working person they are unaffordable and limited range , much better to buy a hybrid with the petrol as a back up .
Thanks Paul, Katie and Jasper for saying in our "Belli Glades" hipcamp at Belli Park and thank you for your kind words. Loved having you here and glad you are all feeling better.

Cheers Glenn & Denise, thanks for having us and making your property available for travellers - we are still amazed by your superpower!! 😊👍

I was thinking the same thing… how good would that be! I’ll ask a mate who works in Outdoor AV what he recommends 👍

Hahaha! I told Jasper we use to have to wind the windows up/down in the vehicle and he looked blankly at me and said “what??!” Exciting times ahead 😅
