Understood. I think the routine is a really good goal. I tried to put out a daily vlog as I picked up my second bus, and realized how difficult it was. I think weekly is a good goal, and achievable by most people. The inspiration, message/topic, and technical hurdles seem to be the most difficult.

When I left my secure job of 24 years to pursue my own business others thought I was nuts and it rubbed off on me...lol My only regret after 7 years...not doing it sooner. Life's a short one way trip, enjoy.

I am experiencing so much of what you are talking about here. Although... I don't yet have a vehicle. I have decided to get rid of 80% of my belongings... just to make room for the "next thing" [might be a non-mobile tiny house while I save up for a vehicle...] I just need to DO something towards this goal while I am saving to make it a reality. Anyhow... I am finding that even though I have been planning this - in my mind - for two years... it is much more difficult - emotionally - than I had expected. As a society, we place much of our worth on the stuff we own... and although I thought I had escaped that mind set because I don't collect the usual "status symbol" sort of stuff // But I am starting to realize that I still place a lot of self-worth on my art collection and the strange things I have surrounded myself with over the years. There is a real fear that if I let it go / I might lose a part of myself. That I will no longer be who I am. Weird thoughts to be fighting~ So, it was very helpful to hear your perspective and get a good reminder of the big picture! I am really enjoying the opportunity to watch your journey - the same journey I hope to start soon!
I am so the same... each piece I own comes with some great story. It was sooo hard to see it go one piece at a time. For some of us, it is a very real emotional process to let it go even if it goes to a great situation. There is also a fear that I'll never have cool individual pieces/stuff again.... which I know is a lie. Ugh, such a process. I've also been homeless when I was young.. so I know I have a bit of an irrational attachment to things. It makes me feel safe. So this is a big shift. Just trying to breathe through it all and remain open to what comes up. Heres to change... the only constant. xo

Do I have responsibilities? Of course I do. But nothing ventured nothing gained. Basically I want to at least give it a try and if I fail or succeed at least I'll have the satisfaction of knowing I attempted to do something about my life and the journey is where you'll find out what lies ahead for you. first off, I love your dog. I just found your channel the first video I saw was you saber sawing a hole in a wall. looked great. you have the same mind set I have about living the traveler life. but you are living it. I am dreaming about it, and even that scares me. i'm trying to take care of my mom with a temp job I've been work for about three or four months now. I have been watching those same videos about nomadic life. it sounds great when it's only you to take care of. I've never physically, psychologically or financially been in a position to think about starting a family. no one wants to higher someone that is 465 lbs. so I had gastric bypass surgery and now i'm down to 305. when I got this temp job, I wanted to yell, jump up and down and cry with joyful tears. it's a hard job with really great people. but every bone in my body just wants a medium sized skoolie or shuttle bus to convert and restart my failed channel with travel and nature. my first goal after the weight is to hike Mt. Washington next will be the Mt. next to it. I would love love to hike the Appalachian trail. and at some point I would like to hike and camp cross country in Ireland then where ever my wheels take me. I know i'm throwing this in at the end but, I have to tell you I think you have the most beautiful eyes, face and personality. I have subscribed to your channel and I'll keep watching your content.

I absolutely feel the same way that you do about consumerism trapping you to a 9 to 5 life. I also just had to go through the selling of all my shiz in order to move down here to Mexico. At first it was difficult cause I like my stuff but then I remembered that I also like searching for new stuff. So if I ever want to go back to Canada I can just look forward to finding new treasures. Stuff that I still needed/wanted I left in 4 boxes at my sisters house. It's safe there as she wont be going anywhere anytime soon as she is trapped in her 9 to 5 life. I always find myself on some crazy adventure. I am NO STRANGER to people finding my life choices strange or bizarre. Fuk em. I live for me (and Alice my Mexican rescue dog). Always remember, nothing in life is permanent you can always go forward or backwards anytime you want. Enjoy the adventure which is your life. PS.... Your schoolie reno is my favorite one EVER. .

You will be perfect...you are going to have a great time and you are going to learn so very much! That stuff...if you really love it then it will be hard. If you can live without it then give it to a shelter and see if they can feed some people with it. The waves of emotion is fear...don't let it get you. You can do this. Don't let nay sayers get to you either. You can get help from the shelters, they will Come and help you pack and pick...ask and ye shall receive.

I'm not going to lie, it's been rough on all of us. There are two hours of play time at the dog parks or walks in the morning and then again in the evening. Once everyone settles for the night, it's been good. We are really striving for routine right now. Hammond is settling in better and quicker then I thought. Gus could care less about anything as long as he is with me. I post pics of him posing all over the bus on my IG and FB page. lol
Masyn get your shit together and start living your dream i've been living my life in service of others planning my escape only to hit a wall with my health. i have stage three cancer and even there is good solid treatment there is no guarantees of survival. so i have been putting off my dream and it may not come to fruition. let the shit go and go!

I'm not going to lie, it's been rough on all of us. There are two hours of play time at the dog parks or walks in the morning and then again in the evening. Once everyone settles for the night, it's been good. We are really striving for routine right now. Hammond is settling in better and quicker then I thought. Gus could care less about anything as long as he is with me. I post pics of him posing all over the bus on my IG and FB page. lol
