Hey Ninjapumkin, Yes Sir it was pretty awesome being able to finally make it move. Lots of work to get to this point, but it feels worth it to hear it run. Thanks for all the support along the way!!
Phenomenal to see this car make that first steps into life on the road again. Hope to see this car in person at a event or show next year. All this hard work is really paying off sir, it’s well deserved.
Hey Chris, 😂 yeah so far no issues with the neighbors, but I don't want to push it too far. I think many of them have seen me out working on it for years so they will give me a shirt leeway 😀. Once she is stable and legal I will bring her up your way.
Thanks for tuning in!! Yeah the wiring can be a bit tricky. I have changed quite a bit on mine. I am thinking I might do a video on my wiring updates, then maybe a separate video on the stock setup. Let me know what would be helpful, is there anything specific in wiring you want to see? Thanks!!
hahha, that seat belt , if we were given the time back for all the almost there pulls, well that eventime out by H.O.A. test drive with open headers. time returned!
So happy you got her going!! So exciting! Great job! You have worked so hard! Hopefully you will make it to no name this year!! Definitely need new seat belts! 😂 😊
Hey Jackie, thank you!!! Yes, I will be there and the Duster will make it next year. Still plenty of time to work out the buds.😁 Hope you guys are good!!
@@DustorBust That is great! I know you will get the Duster done! I can't wait to see it finished! I'm sure your family is excited about it too! We are well! 😊
@@ClintsStreetMachines haha, I originally thought I could build this car in a year, it is going on 3 now and it is still far from street ready. Time flies. 😂
Hi Mike, thanks!! Kickdown looked good when we set it up. I will double check just to make sure. Had a small issue with throttle sticking so I need to revisit that whole area. Thanks for watching!!
Hi Rob, thanks for watching. Have not been able to drive it hard yet, but so far I am happy with it. Just an FYI, after this I went and hooked up my tach and found that my idle was set super low, like 500rpm, so that made it sound a bit more lopey than it usually would. So far I have not found any clear data on any long term issues from running it that low, but I know most people run more like 8-900. And it is a bit smoother at that rpm unfortunately. Once I get my current issues fixed I might play around more with the idle. Good luck with yours!
Hi Bill!! Thank you Sir! Yes, feels like I am making real progress now. Thanks for tuning in. Haha, yeah those seatbelts, right now I find them humorous, eventually it might get annoying and I will have to work on it 🤣. Bigger fish to fry for now. 👍
Fantastic video man, I'm working on getting my '74 back on the road...im technically putting a 360 in mine as well...however, mine's a straight 6 and doesn't run gasoline
I built a Trans Am, i know how hard it is to find info,, what will i need to swap a out a slant 6 for a 360? Any help or place to find info would be great.
Hi Robert, thanks for checking out the channel! Yes, most people have no idea the amount of effort researching and finding good info. Tons of time. Off the top of my head, you need to modify the K member, or just find a V8 one would be easier. Unfortunately not cheap. The torsion bars are also beefier on the V8's. They also came with sway bars and the 6's did not. Mymopar.com has some manuals, but last I saw they did not have the 74 Chassis book. They do have the parts list, which has lots of exploded views and is super helpful. ForABodiesOnly is a website with lots of forums and good info. You might want to upgrade your brakes to disc front. JonnyMopar and Hoosier Garage channels have some videos about which cars have compatible spindles. Both are super nice guys and would also help you with some info. Adam of Hoosier Garage is currently doing a slant to 360 conversion on a duster, so he could probably give you some recent info and might have some videos coming soon on it. Good Luck!!👍
Hey Silva, thanks for reaching out. I have been hibernating for winter😂. All is well, but cold garage sucks so I have been slow. I fixed most of the issues I had been fighting, I'll see if I can get an update video out soon. Thanks for the push, and thanks for checking in!!
Howdy Smilsmff, thank you for checking in, I sincerely appreciate it. Duster is running pretty good and with plates. Hoping to drop an update video in the next week or so. Stay tuned, thanks!
Hey Acardiac! Was that you in Ruben's channel(Muscle City Madness) a few months back? If so, what an impressive project. You have done a ton of work. Congrats!! Winter is always a bit harder up north. Lots of other life priorities also. Slow progress. I'll try to get something out soon ! I appreciate the support and you checking in on me. 😁👍
Jail... 😂Not really, life just got crazy. Duster is up and running, but still rough around the edges. Will post update soon. Thank you for checking in my Mopar brother!
Hey Mark, thank you for checking in. I appreciate it. Unfortunately a lot of life happened in the last year. I had to move house as well as other things. Good news is that the Duster is actually plated and legally driving, but still pretty raw and missing quarter windows and stuff. Got slowed down for a while, but Hot Rodding will continue. I will hopefully be able to get some videos out soon. Take care!
Way to go Marcos. Glad to see you got it out and going. It sure sounds good, good luck on the rest of the build.
Hi Jeff, Thank you!! I am going to have to put on some exhaust soon, sounds good, but a little too loud 😆. Thanks for tuning in, I appreciate it!
Yay for the small wins!! Driving her around the block must have felt spectacular. Good for you bud ☺️

Definitely a motivating moment. Sounds SWEET! Great job so far Marcos!!
Hey Bigfoots, thanks Buddy!! Getting closer. 😀
Awesome stuff! Congratulations buddy!
Thank you Joe!! 😀
Congratulations Marco.
The Duster sounds awesome.
Great work.
Maiden voyage is a success.
Thank you for sharing.

Hey Ed! Thank you Sir! Yes, it definitely was a success. A few follow-ups, but that's how it goes. 😀 Take care Sir!
This is great! So motivating! I'm really looking forward to your video on wiring, because I'm really not looking forward to doing my wiring!

Hell Yeah!!!! Congratulations! That thing sounds so good, it's going to be a freaking ripper!! One step closer to BURNOUTS!!!!
Hey Duddie, thanks bud!! Yes Sir, burnouts coming soon. Need to get everything stable first, but on the right track. 😀
I love that first drive! Congrats Marco, nice to see the hard work paying off. NNN2023 or bust?
Hey Clint, good to hear from you buddy!! Thanks! Yes Sir NNN 2023 or Bust 😂. Plenty of time to get there this time.
@@DustorBust You say that now, and so do I, but I bet it's here before we know it.

Love the Horsepower to Weight Ratio! Looking Good!
Haha, yeah she would probably run a decent time with all the missing sheet metal. 😂
Sounds good, sucks about the header bolt, make sure your trans fluid and kickdown linkage is correct, it is critical.

Where'd you go..?
I just watched the torsion bar video. So cool to see this car
Thanks for watching! It definitely was a long journey!
I had to laugh. My Duster 360 has the exact same seatbelt problem. I drives me crazy!
Great to see it on the road!
Hi Paul, thanks!! Yeah those seatbelts. 😂 I m sure it can be improved, but have not had a chance to look at it. Thanks for watching!!
Awesome first drive. 😎
Thanks Nathan!! 😀
Finally!!
Haha, yeah it has been a long time coming!! Thanks for following along with me, I really appreciate it. 😀
Congratulations on the short ride around the block Marcos! That’s gotta feel good?! My original seat belt does the same thing. Lol
