Hello you have very lovely plants! I just finished watching your bedroom house plant tour and had to watch more! May I please ask what kind of ceiling hooks you use? I use swag hooks but they leave such a big hole so I'm wondering if you use something different. Would be a huge help!

Wow wat een planten,super leuk je video’s met planten en info! Wij hebben sinds kort een ficus Lyrata gekocht. 3 stengels in een grote pot hij staat indirect licht. Ik uit naar je video met extra uitleg. Verder krijgt mijn lepelplant vee donkere puntjes. Staat zo’n 4 meter van het raam, kijk ook uit naar evt meer info over die plant. 🙋🏻♂️
Thanks voor je reactie! Als je lepelplant donkere puntjes aan het eind van het blad krijgt, kan dat te maken hebben met luchtvochtigheid. Je kan dan proberen zo nu en dan te sprayen, vooral als de verwarming aanstaat! (dan misschien om de dag of elke dag) Succes!

Hi! Dank je! Ik heb hem vooral voor de plantjes aangeschaft, maar ook voor mezelf; met humidifier heb ik minder last van droge neus en keel. Ik zal er zeker een keer een filmpje over maken!
Hello from the U.S.. Absolutely beautiful plants and planters! I've never seen a raven zamioculcas. Just read it was introduced by a Dutch grower. I hope to see them in New Jersey soon. Also really liked the polka dot plant in bottle.

Hoi! Ik heb gewerkt in een bloemenwinkel vroeger ; ik zie dat jour potten soms droge aarde geeft. Wat je kunt doen is hen een bad te geven! Ze indompelen in een lawwarmwater voor een paar uurtjes, dan zijn ze weer gezond en fris!
Thanks voor de tip! Als de aarde geen vocht meer opneemt doe ik dat inderdaad!
Wacht niet totdat de aarde droog zou komen, dan zijn jou planten erg mager!
Kan je in een Nederlandse video vertellen hoe je een monstera stekt?

Aenium tips??? Ik heb er eentje en dacht dat ie blij was, maar zie nu dat dat toch niet zo is (hij staat buiten en ik woon in Barcelona)
Er is veel licht inval in jou kamers waardoor de planten ook mooier ogen en meer opvallen 🌿☘🌱
When did you get your opuntia? during the colder months not too long ago? Opuntias and generell cacti are in hibernation from November to march. during that time they should not get any water and should be kept in cooler places. the opuntia you have looks like one which was in hibernation not too long ago, it is normal for an opuntia to shrivel and lay flat on the ground during hibernation. providing it with water and sun pretty much wakes the plant up, which is not necessarily a bad thing but letting it sleep is healthier for the plant and promotes blooming during spring :)
Hi Meedy! Thanks for you advise! That opuntia has been super sad ever since I got it (it was a rescue plant) and was way worse in the beginning (I think I got it in summer). I have all of my other cacti in hibernation now, but I feel this one is not strong enough yet to go into full hibernation, so I still give it some water even now and again. I hope for a strong plant and full hibernation next year!

Great idea! I have one an noticed it needs a lot more water than other succulents. So I water it at least once a week. So if the lower leaves are drying and falling off, try more water. Hope this might help!
Hoi heb je toevallig ook ervaring met bonsai bomen? Zou je daar eventueel een video over willen maken, vindt de verzorging van bonsai bomen namelijk er lastig.
He Robin, ik heb helaas geen ervaring met bonsai bomen, dus er geen advies over geven.

Calathea's doen het bij mij ook niet zo goed! En krijg dan telkens de opmerking dat 'ze toch zo gemakkelijk zijn', maar dat vind ik dus helemaal niet! Leuke video! Wil ook super graag een bananenplant, staat zeker op mijn verjaardagslijstje!
Haha, nee ik vind Calathea's helemaal niet zo makkelijk! Probeer wat meer te sprayen, ze houden echt van hoge luchtvochtigheid. De bananenplant is ook niet de allermakkelijkste, hij schijnt het vaak in de winter op te geven. Tot nu toe doet het bij mij nog goed, maar ben erg benieuwd!
ja mijn appartement is er zeker niet ideaal voor, het wordt hier nooit echt warm!

Heel mooie planten! Moet je bij een Monstera Deliciosa altijd een stok (of tak) in de pot steken zodat hij kan groeien of hoeft dit niet?
Hi Marijke! Het hoeft niet persee, maar dan kan de plant wel wild gaan groeien. In de natuur klimt ie graag, dus je kan je voorstellen dat de stengels heel erg gaan hangen als ze niet ondersteund worden. Maar als je er ruimte voor hebt, kan het ook super zijn om hem lekker wild te laten zijn!

Hi, i notice that some of the leaves of your ficus variegata has brown spots on de edges. Mine also has it and it gets bigger and bigger. I was suspecting it has anthracnose, but i heard somewhere that this happens due to genetic characteristics of this plant. Do you have any idea of what could be the reason??
Hi Sandrita, it's hard for a plant to keep the white part alive, as it can't produce any energy. That causes the brown spots on the edge. They have stopped spreading into the white and since than I give the plant some more water and the new leaves are better able to have the white edges. So enough light and water will make the white part more stable!

Hoi, wat doe jij tegen wolluis? Ik word er gek van! Ik moet de ene na de andere plant weggooien! Dank!
Oeei, wolluis kan echt super vervelend zijn! Heb je al verschillende sprays geprobeerd? En dat dan een aantal keer achter elkaar herhalen. Mocht dat niet werken je ook nog kijken naar bestrijden met andere beestjes, zoals bijvoorbeeld aaltjes, al weet ik nu niet of die er ook specifiek voor wolluis zijn. Je zal helaas nog vaak je planten moeten blijven controleren nadat je hebt gesprayd. En als het er niet zoveel zijn, kan je ze met een wattenstaafje met spiritus weghalen.
Bedankt voor je antwoord! Die sprays helpen maar één keer. De volgende dag begint het al weer. Welke spray vind jij de beste? Ik vind wolluis zoooooooooo stom. Spint kun je nog meer mee. Ik heb een raphis van 1.5 meter hoog die zelfs bloeit. En de wolluis vindt hem ook heel mooi....

Hey, hoe zorgde je in je vorige huis met weinig licht ervoor dat je planten de donkere winter doorkwamen? Ik ben nu al stressy voor de winter die er aankomt!! 😅
He Cato! Ik zette sommige planten dichterbij het raam en hield er vooral rekening mee dat ze veel minder water gebruiken. Dan komen ze beter in een ruststand. Je kan alvast verwachten dat ze niet verder zullen groeien in de winter!
