This kind of "training device" has been around for over a dozen years. I have tried several different styles and kinds. None have every worked as advertised or promised. Each device I tried I sent back for a 100% refund, and one company I even took to court for false advertisement on the product and won my case. Every time I tried a new remodeled or revamped device it never stopped barking or chased away dogs... it did the exact opposite making the dogs bark louder and for longer . And when used it would attract more than just dogs but raccoons skunks squares cats beavers and more don't for get it also attracted more dogs. Will not try this kind of device again

Also that most of the time I have given one a chance they worked the exact opposite from advertised. I have tried the devices with a very large variety and mixture of breeds pure and mixes from the largest breed I could find and owner allowed for the trials to the smallest toy breeds I could find and have permission from owners also. The reason I did such an extremely big trial group is for the sake of the foster animals I have had throughout my life. If I find a new technology that can help them prepare for a new forever home I'll use it regularly, or a different training technique or new school of thinking. The animals that are in shelters or foster care deserve the best 2nd chance to have the home and life that they should have had from the beginning so I do everything I can to help them.
This is a great tool to have while travelling or urban exploring. Just as a safety precaution incase of possible dog attack.
