Chevrolet is about to add the E-Ray to the Stingray and Z06 lineup and with a potential strike coming in September, so expect more delays. I decided to stop waiting for an opportunity to buy a C8 Corvette and instead found and bought a C6 Grand Sport in pristine condition. I got it for $40k, and I have stopped dreaming and have started driving. No regrets whatsoever.
Hard to imagine Rick nearly five years later and you would have thought everything would be back to normal almost feels like your traveling through the twilight zone.
On October 6th , I picked up my 2024 C8 Corvette 2LT hardtop convertible. I originally ordered a 2023 C8 HTC in December 2022. I'm really enjoying my Hypersonic Gray Metallic C8 HTC.

Ricky...I had called you in the past, and your truth about the lists and available opportunities was so appreciated. I have now owned 3 c8s and my Z06 will be here in August. We had opportunities with our relationship with a local and national smaller dealer with company trucks, so no slam. You and Chuck are my go-to for real deal info! Enjoy the channel. Jim
Lot of great information and content in one upload! As I commented on Instagram, the grey Z06 looks like it’s a monster truck 😅 I realize the front lift was in the up position.
Thanks for the production updates. It is a shame that GM cannot get the C8 production under control. I am sure their are several people that are unhappy, especially those waiting for E-Rays. I see you are sending more Corvettes to Florida.
Well, I’m at 1101, preliminary order accepted. I’ve optioned for the midnight gray 20 spoke with red stripe wheels. Will be interesting to see how the 19% availability effects my order.

I didn't bother with my local dealers other than stopping in once to ask about their pricing... 30K over list for a stingray. I guess he really just did not want to sell cars. You made it smooth and easy and I am loving my HTC 🥰 Thank you again!
Do you need and how much of a deposit is needed to order C8?? I'm thinking of ordering the Eray and fully understand issues coming up, including the Sept pending strike.

Rick, You already answered your own question. Yes, there will be a strike. They have so much inventory awaiting delivery. So good time for a shut down. Workers keep getting paid from Union funds, so there are no losses.
I saw a red Eray today in OK on i40 heading west. Noticeable. Of course I was heading east. Noticed the huge side vents first then the odd nose. I really wants it.

There is no need for GM to offer the employee discount when they have plenty of customers willing to pay sticker price ......or above sticker price. Don't hold your breath waiting for that discount!

Your parts dept should be able to look those up as they are not accessories they will have to look at production part options …. It’s all there if they had a warranty Issue with parts they would look up the part just like they can and should for you - good luck

Question about the rockers on Mike and Patty’s Stingray… after market? I saw a lot of gloss ✨ on theirs! I only see the composite (flat black) on the builder… does it come in Carbon Flash if I get the CF mirrors, splitter and spoiler???

I'm glad I ordered and received my C8 almost 3 years ago. Sticker price! Wow, next month starts the 5th year of production for the C8...
