Its good. Do you know whether they will apply wipes when they put major patches or the game is just gonna get new progressions and stuff? Because I've hit 25, farmed legendaries, did all quests and I still enjoy to sit around in the game but I wonder if I should spend time collecting stuff, if they gonna do a wipe of servers? Thanks!
Books have gone from 80 and 20 to 5 and 2, such a great quality of life change. I am so happy with the many quality-of-life changes in this patch. I really hope the crop issue is fixed as it would cause my friends game to crash every time he tried to join.
Ummmh… my game doesn‘t seem to have this patch, then. My books still cost 80 and 20. It auto-downloaded the patch on the day of the patch release, but doesn‘t seem to have installed it?!
I really love my archer build with Ranger, assassin, tank and passive healing. I am using exploding arrows because i love that they stun. Glad to see crafting them will be a bit easier.
Finally! I have one friend in my group that plays an archer and it was getting a little annoying to have to wait around for 30-45 minutes just so he can make some arrows for a quest. He'll be glad to hear about this. He was actually thinking of re-doing his skill points into another class all together because of that.
They should add the option to salvage linen from the endless supply of mostly useless "torn cloth" in the game. That would have solved the flax issue. Also there should be at least a chance to recover arrows from dead foes, and also from the environment (both predefined like at Baelyn Bridge right at the start, but also your own arrows that miss like in Zelda)
The wax and honey bug is weird...because i had a similar issue but with flax-seed. After growing these plants, and plucking them..an hour or so would pass and they'd be regrown lol. I didn't mind this glitch though because it helped me craft the ridiculous amount of padding needed for "end-game" armor.
Glad the arrow farming has been adjusted. I would have to farm two stacks of twigs just for one stack of arrows that would last one or two outings before having to be refilled. Neve had an issue of running out of arrow heads when it took so long to farm twigs.
My first maxed character is a ranger build. Getting enough feathers has been an issue so I am interested to see if the changes encourage me to swap up my arrows. Keeping myself in Iron Arrows let alone poisoned ones has been a major challenge.
Thank You much for this vid1 I'm so glad they fixed the arrows and the flax, and other issues. Seem like they really listen to the player base when it comes to quality of life and bugs. So refreshing to see that. Now that I don't have to farm so much , its time to get some revenge on some bosses!
Arrow crafting was "one of the big drawbacks" hhaha I saw what you did there... Yeah, it's friggin fantastic that I don't have to call myself a "professional twig farmer" anymore ;)
You can definitely still spam anything stamina related. Increased Stam Regen from sweets, that's +30 Stam per second already. 50 perecent base increase, and -700 Stam Delay reduction for instant regen on the hunter boots. Yeah. You'll be fine.
I hope that farming saving issue also allows me to finally remove my old red mushroom field (which i relocated to a basement) and properly plant saffron, instead of logging in and the mushrooms being back in full numbers ontop of my newer planted crops.... I guess ill check it at some point when i not busy with other games xD
While I generally love the game, some of the decisions speak to artificial scarcity/enforced grind rather than genuine required mechanics, which I'm kinda hoping the devs will eventually relent on. eg. Why can you not use hardwood/regular wood/shroud wood in the saw table to make arrow shafts? Why can't you burn all sorts of wood to make charcoal? Probably the most annoying thing is why is farming so god awful tedious? Allow us to sow 20 seeds at a time in an area and then have a corresponding bulk crop appear (lock it behind another discovered gubbin out in the world...)
these things are more likely to do with inexperienced developers rather than any artificial scarcity. just seems like their crafting system was built before they had any idea how many types of wood and other materials would exist in the game, so maybe some stuff is hardcoded and hard to change. crops being slow is likely an underlying rate limit to prevent abuse and lagg, they also probably didn't realise people will make giant farms
Glad they made changes to the arrows, was annoying when i am about to go out with friends but i have to make them wait just so i can make arrows. Ended up playing melee as archer was hassle.
Besides the enemy NPCs more-or-less T-Posting and taking it in the face after Lvl 15ish, the main bug is Button puzzles and either dying during the puzzle location or fast traveling away and back completely bugs out opening the puzzle door. Don't forget your lock picks.
My game never crashed. i find enemies stuck in the weird places. thanks for the update... found 4 quest i couldn't finish due to being in the red fog... ghost temple is only one... or cave entrance leading to quest is in the red fog..got everything else.. didn't bother with the gardening,, will have to work on that..
I wish they would fix the clipping of logs, twigs, resin, fruit, (anything that falls to the ground) so you can't see it to collect it. I know it still shows to press key to collect when you walk over it, but I have missed alot of resources from clipping into the ground.
defintely a good change for my ranger build, just wish they'd let us break down logs into twigs or something logical and simple like that so this isn't even a thing at least in later stages of gameplay.
The wax honey fix is amazing. My favorite base can finally be accessed without crashing due to the game item checking 30k + honey and wax I didn’t pick up.😂
i didn't even notice crafting arrows was as big of a pain as people keep saying. i personally didn't have an issue and always ended up over crafting... BUT the book pages is suck a huge qol improvement, sadly after i just spent 623 pages to fill just one book shelf. makes me sad i didn't wait just a few more hours.
I thought it was weird i kept getting 5 feathers from birds, did not know about the twigs, i had previously just spammed a few hundred twig bushes in one of my bases just for a constant stream of twig arrows anyway
2:27 That's the only bug I've faced with the game till now. I fought so hard with my own self to ignore it and not exploit it 😅 Edit: 5:04 Actually experienced that too. Lost a chest because I couldn't press the button on the door with a projectile while stepping on a button to keep said door open. No big deal though.
Spent a whole day yesterday, mining the stuff for arrows, gathering items for the Deer Stalker armour then this update happens. (Funny how waiting for the patch would have taken the same amount of time) Great to be able to go out and explore instead of endlessly planting flax, bushes and deleting plant fibers.
I feel like I'm already running out of stamina enough with jump attacks. It actually feels like a decent place, not OP cheesy where you can spam it forever. Depending on the fight, you are likely low or out of stamina by the time you're done. This probably just mean's I'll die more
Struggling to understand the thought processing of nerfing the weakest class in the game (melee), but other than that it looks good. Having an absolute blast so far in this game.
Does anybody had this issue with Enshrouded: In my case, after playing for a while, the game crashes and closes or the session ends and any progress, any item, any weapon I had farmed got losts. Last time I was harvesting some kind of flowers and was collecting them and then the game crashed and closed itself, I lost everything I was harvesting 😢. HOPE IT WAS FIXED 😢
Darn, looks like I’m not looting a dozen honey and wax from under my tree in harvest homestead every time I log in anymore haha Also I’ll have to change to ranger since my melee is built completely around jump attack. Thanks for the heads up!
Would've been nice to make a "Never-Empty Quiver" as the final craft for archer builds. I mean, mage's have that, so it's not a huge leap . But noOOoo let's nerf melee builds hahaha awesome job. anyways, enough whining, thanks for the vid :)
They needed to fix the chest reset on logging which has nearly ruined the game for me. What's the point of making armour or weapons when you can just loot legendary chests over and over.
Suggestion: a 6 minute video is good compared to some that are much longer, but it's still too long for just reading out the patch notes which are on the Steam page and which you could just show for 10 seconds and be done. How about showing gameplay footage showing what the new arrow costs or twig yields actually are, instead of showing you mine copper while you talk about arrows?
Suggestion: How about you just read the patch notes next time instead of spending six minutes watching a video and then taking a few more minutes to leave a snarky comment?
@@mimiepperson7116I did read the patch notes. However, the patch was just released today, so kudos to the channel owner for filming, editing, and uploading a video for us so quickly. I enjoyed listening to it on my lunch break. 👏🏻
@person7116 Fair enough. If it was helpful or enjoyable for you, I'm not one to argue with that. I'm skeptical that he captured any new gameplay footage for it given the quick turnaround. Personally, I'd rather wait a day for a video and have it contain visuals that match and illustrate the new features being talked about, and in more detail than the patch notes. I know creating TH-cam content is competitive and speedy production matters, but I'm still unlikely to return if the video is 6 minutes of stuff I already read in 1 minute, and he can't make an informed decision about that if he doesn't know it matters to some viewers. To each his own.
Thanks for the video man, but I would ask, please stop blurring the entire screen over and over and over. It's really hard on the eyes. You would be fine without the blur at all.

I think shroud trees should drop 6 shroud wood just like regular trees
i want the next section released :)
-Reduced amount of twigs needed to craft arrows.
-Increased yield of twigs from grown bushes.
-Increased yield of feathers from their sources.
I love that the devs added "It was funny though" to several of these fixes. Great game and even greater devs.
Books have gone from 80 and 20 to 5 and 2, such a great quality of life change. I am so happy with the many quality-of-life changes in this patch. I really hope the crop issue is fixed as it would cause my friends game to crash every time he tried to join.

The arrow crafting isn't there yet.......... It's still a pain in the ass. Lower tier arrows should require less twigs but it doesn't.
Finally! I have one friend in my group that plays an archer and it was getting a little annoying to have to wait around for 30-45 minutes just so he can make some arrows for a quest.
