What she had with salman in this movie was not true love . Real love does not just go away and she falls in love with her arranged marriage husband. This movie just romanticizes forced marriage which many times ends in mental problems, divorce or suicide.
No it didn't romanticise forced marriage, if it would have, it would not have shown a woman running away from her arranged marriage, aish's cousin sister in the movie. It showed how it ended with an abused woman. The movie showed two outcomes of an arranged marriage at the end of the day. This movie showed the difference between infatuation and true love. First sense of affection and real love. It was not marriage that changed her, it was ajays love, a sacrificing love and devotion for her which changed her heart. Even though I don't like how Aishwarya rai once wanted salman and then changed her decision in a matter of 10 minutes, or maybe less, but okay 🥲
