I first remove everything from the season that just ended that I didn’t wear or is falling apart. I then assess everything from the season we are starting and remove things I no longer like because of fit or style. Then move what I’m keeping from the current season to the prominent section of my closet. And this season I’m not buying anything new. I don’t need anything. Yay
I don’t actually reset my wardrobe until late autumn. There may be occasional warm days through to thanksgiving. I keep out most of my long sleeved shirts and tees all summer. I make sure to put my light sweaters and jacket on the top of the winter storage to make it easy to pull them. Love your new cut.
You can also rediscover headbands of all shapes and types. Using small jaw clips to artfully pin back the front pieces is also a good solution for when it's annoying you.
There's something I love about the Canadian winter wardrobe switchover, since it really happens in two pieces. Light cold weather, then bunker down cold weather.
0:56 when i had my supershort bob i would use a flatiron to slighty curl the ends inward or outward(for that alice in twilight vibe) , makes its look way cleaner C: you can also get small clips for ''half updos'' just clip (or hairtie) back two strands above the ear, thats good for gym ;)
So happy to see those pops of red in your wardrobe and the green & white sweater at the end. Thanks for the switcheroo inspiration. I remember your earlier decluttering. I feel encouraged to keep going. Happy Sunday ☀
Gosh darn it I LOVE the hair! It looks super cool and effortlessly chic. With your hair and jewellery the clothes (IMO) are just secondary as you can wear anything. Everything looks good with that base!
I decided a few years ago to totally get rid of all polyester and only buy natural fibres from then on……so I am even wearing my linen year round because I have a lot of long sleeved and/or darker colours….and I live in Canada….Ottawa….I am really using my overall wardrobe more efficiently….😊
Baby ponytail is still Tres chic! I really love the new KOTN green/cream sweater. And I also loved the few outfits that you show at the end, including the big chunky sweater with the skirt. Very fun, thanks so much.
Your haircut is super chic and adorable. I hope YOU love it. I had a short bob for a while. I had what I called a little George Washington ponytail. It looked very colonial. I used the short tortoise hair clips from J Crew (no knockoffs did as well). It made my little pony nub look a little like a French twist if I did it right. Love your videos, thank you!
I slowly and organically change seasons in my wardrobe. The qeather is slowly turning to fall, so I pulled my jeans out and a few lighter autumnal dresses and put away some very summery pieces. I have a young baby so I can't dedicate more than an hour every few weeks, but this works for my lifestyle and climate. Thanks for another great video! ❤
Your hair...😍So flattering...classy! Thanks for this content, so timely as SE MI is transitioning from Winter to Spring. I was very proud of myself for going through my vast sweater collection (many didn't fit anymore! 😳) & a large trash bag full later went to a Facebook free Gifting group receipient. Yay, they are the hell out of our home! 😊❤
As someone who’s had both lobs and am now rocking a pixie, two tips: 1. Experiment! Center parting never looked good on me, BUT I’d do that and do a braid on each side and pin it up. Play around with products as well; gel vs. pomade vs. Fiber all give very different looks. 2. Dirty vs. Clean hair dos. There are some styles that look best the first 12 hours from hair wash, and then there are some looks you can almost never create without the oils that come in after a day. Bringing tip 1 in, experiment! Hope this helps! Have fun with your hair :)
Christina! I am so happy to have found your channel a little while ago. I am going on the same Dave Ramsey journey you did and your content has been incredibly helpful! I also love it when you say "I'm a pharmacist", because my mom is one too and you remind me so much of her when I was little and she was in her late 20s 😊
I’ve gone back and forth with long and short hair (from shaved to waist length). I find using a straightener to curl short hair is the easiest way to make an undone wave with volume style (I have pretty fine hair).
As Spring / Summer are my favourite seasons, I've been slowly getting my summer clothes out and putting my winter clothes away as the weather gets warmer.
Break out the rolling rack. Sort, purge summer items I didn’t wear vs what I did. Those go into separate space bags. This year I worked off of one space bag actually so next year I may just try the other and see what I miss wearing. Start unpacking all the fall/ winter, hang, steam, try on, evaluate. So far I’ve only unpacked half since it’s still warm until end of October. First year I don’t need dressy workwear so not sure what to do with these pieces since I have a new career…
I am watching you bundled up in my cozy sweater & fuzzy blanket....I can see my breath outside!! I just shiver at your bare shoulders 🥶 Yes, fall is definitely here!!! Love the new hair cut! I had almost the same cut last summer. I just added a bit of hair oil and let it do its own thing! It just looks so pulled together with little effort - my favorite type of hair style!!! I ended up growing it just a bit longer (collarbone length) because I like to ponytail it a lot....
I have a black linen I wear year round. In the winter I wear long silk underwear under it. They are very wide leg with pull tie. So comfy and cozy in the winter.
Personally, always put away my heaviest clothes . So when autumn comes back, I pull them out and then think about what I like, what i will continue wearing, if anything is missing- always does 😂. It's a good way to start fresh new season!
All depends on where you live in Canada…28-30 degrees still for me which is pretty typical. Linen items are my go to items. No sweaters yet by a long shot.
When I had hair that short, I found using a hot brush the best option. It straightened my hair and gave it a little volume and movement but not too much :)
Really enjoyed this, thank you. The seasonal transition from Summer to Autumn isn’t very clearly defined here (Isle of Wight, England) so it can be bikini weather one day and jumper and rain coats the next. So I have a lot of items accessible right now.
Like you I put al out off the boxes and try on if it’s fit again, (because more to love 😢) and I look if I stil love the item and if. It’ fit well color ok etc…and I put back item too light for autumn…make a list of cloths that I would like to add. Bring shoes at the cobbler, wash items to give nice smell …and after that looks at my Pinterest mood board for autumn and try some kit…I work three days a week and usually I prepare my look once a week for work and put it three days the same outfits. I work with clients that see me oncea week and my collègue don’t mind and it’s easiest for me. Love the process
Love the hair 💗 I had the same feeling when I cut my hair short in the spring. My hairdresser showed me how to make the best waves, but I don´t know how to explain it. Anyways I get the best/easiest hair texture when I put the hair in one french braid over night (make sure the hair is a little moist). Also the hair will look great with different type of headbands 😊💁♀ I personally am still not used to my hair being short, so I have decided to give up and grow it back. 🙈
Love your hair ❤ I need to reset my closet. I just KNEW Fall wasn’t coming to Southern California until November ha ha but our weather has strangely cooled down so I need to wear my transition pieces right now. I would love to see how you style your pieces and incorporate trends. Really enjoyed your video ❤
idk if you have a video on this already but if not can you please make a video on tips to stay warm in the winter while still dressing somewhat fashionable, I need a Canadian’s advice hahaha
Thanks for another great video. Love your channel and content and it’s positive influence. Keep up this inspirational work. Love the new hair cut, sorry I cannot help with styling tips as when you say super short this has different meaning for me as I rock a pixie, which is to me super short 😊
Your hair is so cute! I have short hair too and I always throw it up in a sort of half up-half down look (since its too short for a full bun) with messy bun and pieces in the front! Happy styling and love your vids!
Christina your hair is soooooo chic….I love it Enjoying the video, can’t wait to wear fall clothes, so sick of summer outfits, living in the south I have at least another month to go I always put away a season of clothes when season changes, makes bringing them out again like they are new clothes.
Hi Christina, was hoping for some switchover video. Good idea to use a hardcase suitcase for storage. I am doubting whether to leave all clothes in my closet or also do a capsule for the first time. But the weather can change quickly here in the Netherlands. I also want to get a little more use of some more summery items like a silky skirt as you suggested. Fall season is great, but I feel that if I start wearing fall/winter items in september already, I get too bored with them when February arrives. 😅
You might enjoy changing to a side part for variety? Or since your eyes are so beautiful some side swept bangs to emphasize them? Love the new cut and always enjoy your content.💐💕
Hi! Hairdresser here, I love your Contin and I’ve noticed that you’ve been wearing your new hair pretty straight. Maybe consider getting a keratin treatment… It is definitely a little bit toxic but isn’t everything? Lol reason why I suggest this is it will help you with heat styling your hair. if you’re trying to grow your hair out a little bit so you feel more comfortable heat styling it a lot is it going to make it a little bit harder to grow out because it will damage it. Anyway, I absolutely love this length on you and you totally pull off the Bob perfectly! Just some food for thought. ❤
I have short hair. While I love long hair, it doesn’t work for me because I have very fine thin hair with cowlicks at the crown. Long hair accentuates them. Learning where along the hair to start the curl in very important. It’s definitely a learning curve.
I had this length of hair myself and was overwhelmed with styling it. The videos on TH-cam by Mallory Brooke saved me, which I can highly recommend :-)
Hair is awesome! By the way, do you know how many pieces you own? it feels lately, no matter how much I clean my closet, there's always more than I would imagine or want... thanks
oooh that cut is so cute on you! i think using a flat iron to flip the ends in would look so chic with that cut!!! maybe a lil round brush blowout but it’s tough with short hair haha
How do you reset your wardrobe for a new season? Are you ready for autumn?
I first remove everything from the season that just ended that I didn’t wear or is falling apart. I then assess everything from the season we are starting and remove things I no longer like because of fit or style. Then move what I’m keeping from the current season to the prominent section of my closet. And this season I’m not buying anything new. I don’t need anything. Yay

Adore the haircut! And the maxi skirt with the chunky sweater at the end, combined with the new hair... Incredibly chic yet effortless!
AGREED!!!
that hair is so edgy and elegant and modern and I LOVE it
Love your short hair! When I had mine short, I loved the half up/half down “space buns.” Super easy and effortlessly cool ;)
You can also rediscover headbands of all shapes and types. Using small jaw clips to artfully pin back the front pieces is also a good solution for when it's annoying you.
Maybe it doesn't make sense but you are soooo relaxing to listen to! Your videos are kind of my own way to reset when my anxiety starts kicking in lol
I found your videos recently and they've already changed the way I think about clothes, consumption, and myself. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Enjoying my coffee with you this morning! Have a lovely day
Those of us who live in locations with seasons have more opportunities to refresh our wardrobes without shopping. I'm excited about winter coming
There's something I love about the Canadian winter wardrobe switchover, since it really happens in two pieces. Light cold weather, then bunker down cold weather.
Hahaha exactly 😆
The skirt from Dissh is completely amazing on you. I have loved watching your style and wardrobe evolve. Thanks for sharing with us.
Girl that hair looks soooo cute on you!! Really makes you shine!
Your hair is gorg ❤ *chef’s kiss*
🥹🥹 thank you ❤

I like the green sweater and the men's sweater. Cozy fall vibes!
The short hair looks amazing especially with your style!
Gosh darn it I LOVE the hair! It looks super cool and effortlessly chic. With your hair and jewellery the clothes (IMO) are just secondary as you can wear anything. Everything looks good with that base!
Wait am I the only one who still wears linen in the fall/winter lol??? I love the way it feels so much
i love your new hair it looks great like that. its effortless and sheek
I decided a few years ago to totally get rid of all polyester and only buy natural fibres from then on……so I am even wearing my linen year round because I have a lot of long sleeved and/or darker colours….and I live in Canada….Ottawa….I am really using my overall wardrobe more efficiently….😊
Love that for you!!
Christina love your short hairstyle and your baggy jeans ❤
Baby ponytail is still Tres chic! I really love the new KOTN green/cream sweater. And I also loved the few outfits that you show at the end, including the big chunky sweater with the skirt. Very fun, thanks so much.
Love, love , love your hair, super chic 😊

You got this! And so cute 👩⚕️

Great video- a heat protector and blow dry upside down for fun flick outs. I have exactly the same bob cut as you, mine is just a bit shorter. Enjoy!
27 degree Celsius here in Germany, still not thinking about fall wardrobe. Maybe in 3 weeks 😂
you look great with this new hairstyle! much much fresher!
As Spring / Summer are my favourite seasons, I've been slowly getting my summer clothes out and putting my winter clothes away as the weather gets warmer.
LOVE the satin skirt with the chunky knit - you look elegant and fabulous!
Love seeing you Christina!! You look beautiful ❤
Love the green sweater 😍
I love your haircut! It looks great on you!
Yes, more please!

For the hair…watch the first season of charmed (from the 90’s) they all have a similar haircut and do super cute things with it!!!
Cute hair clips are a lifesaver for short hair!
The short hair looks sooo cute!
You seem so much happier 🤍
I am watching you bundled up in my cozy sweater & fuzzy blanket....I can see my breath outside!! I just shiver at your bare shoulders 🥶 Yes, fall is definitely here!!!

Your hair looks fantastic. You don't need to do anything. Looks good. 👍😊x
Liked before ı watch, because ı am at work😂
I love this! You’re reminding me and inspiring me to not only declutter, but change out my closet ❤😄
I have a black linen I wear year round. In the winter I wear long silk underwear under it.
They are very wide leg with pull tie. So comfy and cozy in the winter.
I appreciate that you don't focus on the number of items and that you keep some favorite items all year long. Nice video. And cute hair, too! 😉
I absolutely love your videos! That’s all. 😊
Personally, always put away my heaviest clothes . So when autumn comes back, I pull them out and then think about what I like, what i will continue wearing, if anything is missing- always does 😂. It's a good way to start fresh new season!
I adore your new hair style, and I imagine it it the wavy style, more unexpected style
Your new haircut looks amazing! 🤩
All depends on where you live in Canada…28-30 degrees still for me which is pretty typical. Linen items are my go to items. No sweaters yet by a long shot.
I’m getting a bob next week and I’m so excited! Also: “Choose Your Breakdown” is pretty much a daily thang, you know? A lifestyle. 😂
When I had hair that short, I found using a hot brush the best option. It straightened my hair and gave it a little volume and movement but not too much :)
Love the new haircut!
Your hair looks really good ❤
The new hair looks amazing, Christina!

Love the haircut 💕💕
Definitely the style I'd have if I wasn't a curly girl !
Girl, you are looking fit !!
Hi Christina! I love your channel. Love your hair! A small pony is perfect or I
feel you could rock a cute headband!
I love your hair like that!
i think short hair definiately suits you. looks great.
Oh yeah, also looks great
I love your new haircut! It looks so great on you 😊💕

Yes I have one from last winter on my channel but I’ll be making an updated one closer to the wintertime ❤️
Loving the new short 'do!
Try a mermaid hairstyler! Easy, fast & pretty!
Thanks for another great video. Love your channel and content and it’s positive influence. Keep up this inspirational work. Love the new hair cut, sorry I cannot help with styling tips as when you say super short this has different meaning for me as I rock a pixie, which is to me super short 😊
Your hair is soo good

How do you wear your wide leg trousers in the winter outside? Do you tuck them into your boots to keep the slush and salt off? Love your channel!❤
Yep! Sometimes I wear snowpants too lol
Christina your hair is soooooo chic….I love it

True😆 it’s nice to have a mix!
Love the hair Thank you for great vid
I love your new shorter hair! It looks good straight like you have it. I just cut my hair shoulder length short and idk how to style it either 😂
Yay new video! And you make me want to cut my hair short agian😂❤
Haha love it! omg tell me what to do with mine! 😅
@@Christinamychas you look fab! Dont worry. And I also cant give you advice haha😂❤
Your hair is so cute! Leave it down. You're so lucky you can wash and go instead of having to style it!❤
Maybe beachy wavy..some salt spray...your arms look so strong💪👌
You might enjoy changing to a side part for variety? Or since your eyes are so beautiful some side swept bangs to emphasize them? Love the new cut and always enjoy your content.💐💕
I love your candor. You inspired me to get going with the fall transition. I love the Levi's. Are they vintage? :)

Omg! Just got the same haircut - probably 5cm longer - and I’m struggling too, with my wavy hair😂 just keep it cool, time will solve it❤
I just checked and it says Kotn has a store in Calgary
Love this as I am not a fan of online shopping
Sorry I realize this doesn't help you with using your discount code though!
I have short hair. While I love long hair, it doesn’t work for me because I have very fine thin hair with cowlicks at the crown. Long hair accentuates them. Learning where along the hair to start the curl in very important. It’s definitely a learning curve.

Balloon xl!
I think you look soo cool, so Anine Bing! ❤️
Where do you get your tube tops? Super cute!
I had this length of hair myself and was overwhelmed with styling it. The videos on TH-cam by Mallory Brooke saved me, which I can highly recommend :-)
What are your thoughts on the Whering app? I’m trying to get into it because it’s such a cool concept but I struggle with consistency
Hair is awesome! By the way, do you know how many pieces you own? it feels lately, no matter how much I clean my closet, there's always more than I would imagine or want... thanks
Your haircut is very pretty.. chic!
oooh that cut is so cute on you! i think using a flat iron to flip the ends in would look so chic with that cut!!! maybe a lil round brush blowout but it’s tough with short hair haha
Thank you!! Good idea!
