thanks man, i am excited, i have shot both Neowise and Leonard and am hoping for a great event this time too. thanks for the good info. clear skies, hope hope
My best dates: Sept 29/30 & Oct 1st -- after that, it's competing w/the sunrise -- Then October 20th until the end of the month (probably will try more during this period, IF the comet proves to be worth it). I'm at the equator (on an island), so hopefully that helps me w/ viewing.
It does seem that it could be really good, but the horizon line is going to be so difficult for some. The 3 degrees and perihelion is darn near impossible living in the Rocky Mountains. I do really like the southern hemispheres setup at Perihelion. They will be 10 degrees from the horizon and could offer some great landscape astro images.
Give me your location, latitude longitude (don't give me the lat long to your house, maybe a nearby park for safety from people) and I will do a video for our southern friends.
I'm in the southern hemisphere as well at -30° lat East Coast Australia.. A run through for us southerners would be great. Moon seems to be a pain with this comet. What sort of gear would you think would be suitable? Seems more suitable for prime lens not so much telescopes..maybe a little redcat? Thanks for your info, Find it hard to find unhyped info 👍🏻
@@gary122 Thank you for the info. I'm planning to travel to Australia for the 2028 eclipse and to get a bit of astro in while I'm there. Love your night skies.
Your welcome, we have plenty of bortle 1 skies once you get away from the big urban centres. I live on the outskirts of a small town with nice bortle 2 skies.
@@astroventure2221 Just saw your new video for the southern hemisphere and thank you so much! I live in south of Brazil, -23° lat, -51° long , dont check my notifications often so couldnt share my location in time 😅
I appreciate that you're reporting on A3, but...if you don't have much to say, make a shorter video. We don't need a scratch 25 seconds up front, or music, or apologies about your pronunciations of some foreign word. Just start talking and say what you have to say. Clean is the right word. We'll need to travel to a very clean east and southeastern horizon to get this in the morning in September, or a clean western horizon in October. I did the same analysis and reached the same conclusions, this isn't going to be a great September morning comet, despite it's brightness, and it's going to be challenging in evenings in October.
Sorry, I wasn't your cup of tea. The length of the video and what was covered is to counter the hype and SHOW people why I don't think it will quite materialize. Thank you (honestly) for the feedback.

Love to see you on our FB group Astro Venture DSLR to share some off your past captures and the upcoming. Good luck, and clear skies.

That's awesome. If you don't mind, what island?
Thanks!
This is what I was waiting for.
You are very welcome.

Crisp and clear explanation sir 🎉 New subscriber from India

The Sky & Telescope article by Bob King was interesting. It was titled Update: Comet TA Might Outshine Predictions. Published September 12th.

I hope I can see the comet from Indonesia
10 degree up is not hard to get line of sight on, and forward scattering on 13-15th very well may punch through the twilight
For many, 10 degrees will work. For those of us in the mountains, it may be hard. Best of luck.
Make a wish right now(wish right now)
I live in the southern hemisphere.
Would this analysis also apply?

just so you know, Tsuchinshan is pronounced soo-chin-shan
Thank you.
What time will i see it from India?
Please go clear your throat
@@AndrewStead-i9h that won't change anything. 10 hours of speaking tends to do that to a voice.
Nobody believes in the bible and god no more wow
Relevance to this comet?
@@Ridstar_Q20 Read the bible it explains what it is. Its a shame the devil got people blind
Or, a comet can just be a comet.

Nice rundown on the issues with shooting this comet!
Thank you and I hope you found it helpful information.
