Just got Sylvania 7528, which also is compatible with 1034. 12/12v,21/5w from Autozone this morning. None of the videos I've seen sofar ,shows you how to remove plastic holders on plastic cover under the lights. One video said I could replace bulb from under hood. That wasn't right either
Do you have any recommendations on only one drl not working? My passenger side has a new bulb from carmax and they claim they can’t find the issue. Any advice would be great!!!

Mine went out, dealer wanted almost $200 to replace it, couple days later hit a raccoon and it took the bottom plastic off for me, cost me like $2 for the bulbs 😂 though the raccoon cost like $4,000 other repairs
Changed my spark plugs and o2 sensors today...had a harder time trying to get the protective cover off to get to the fog lights smh. The 10mm screws are impossible.

Mine burned out....ridiculous. Will cost who knows how much to have the dealer replace it. Called and they said warranty wouldn't cover it. A bulb should last more than two years and 50k miles.

When I was growing up we called them fog lights...now people run down the road with light bars all over the front blinding everyone and they say no these are daytime running lights..
@@SikConVicTioNI thought the same until I realized there’s no switch to control the light in the Mrs. car. Last week it popped up a message “check daytime running light” and sure enough one is burned out. Just gonna replace them both and be done with it
Why do they have to make it so hard for the average person to replace a bulb these days! ☹
Money. Pretty soon you wont be able to change your oil without a $ 5,000 dollar scan tool.
Same reason my Kia’s windshield costs $835 after taxes to replace but thank god it’s only $500 with insurance
Says the replacement bulb is a P21W. That is incorrect, it is a P21/5W. Small but vital difference.
It depends on the trim
Same process for an LED bulb replacement? Dipping into doing my own simple repairs for the first time. Appreciate all the videos
You think they can make it any harder to replace?
Y’all never dealt with Subaru then lol
Anyone know what socket part this is to order online
I threw LED in on My 2021 forte LXS and it looks so much better! Had to tinker the light to fit but no warnings or anything.
Can I see pics trynna do the same
@@trayjanross3685 you have reddit?
@@Death2TheCore nope I don’t
How did you not get an error/warning when changing into LED?
Did you get the zevo bulb? The regular white led box threw a warning ⚠️ on mine

Same issue . Just wondering how much the dealership would charge. Prolly do trash like this so women have to pay.😑
@@angrychileh308 and I’m mechanically savvy, but I don’t currently have the capability to do it myself. I can’t find an answer anywhere!!
It’s a lot easier when a raccoon ripped off all the plastic underneath your car lol.

It's a 10 millimeter socket

Im fucking livid. Both Mine burned out AGAIN. After replacement in February.
I HAVE RIO 2017
I HOPE ITS THE SAME
It doesn't show you how to remove plastic connectors. I just broke the head of it off, rest of plastic 🙃 😪 connector is still there.
Ima jus remove them and never put them back 😂 bulbs always go out
You got grease on the new bulb. It will overheat and burn out faster

Oh hell nah
That's a fog light... Not a drl
It is not a fog light, it is the daytime running light.

DRL's are the small LEDs surrounding the projector
