So many commenters were angry with Arthit for struggling with coming out in his adult, professional life, but he did it in his own time, which is the way it should be. Kong has a rich family to fall back on, so he can afford to be "braver". So many bl series (not Sotus S) make the partner who's struggling with coming out seem like the bad guy, but that's not fair. Coming out has a cost (and rewards) in most cultures including in certain sub cultures in the most liberal countries. This series highlights complex, realistic issues about same sex coupling and any romantic partnership, and does it in beautiful layers. I really hope the new audience for it from it's Netflix release will create a greater demand for season 3.
I like your comments and totally agree with you but there really is no need for a season 3. The story has already been told.
As someone who struggles with my sexuality, THANK YOU! Coming out in a workforce is so difficult. It’s easy to come out to friends but so much different to Colleagues is so strange. Especially since the age group is so vast. You got young adults around my age (19-30) who are far more comfortable talking about sexuality, but you also have older colleagues who maybe aren’t so comfortable with it and see it as negative. Especially with the world now. Yes it’s gotten so much easier, but we can still lose our jobs because of our sexuality, which makes it all the more scarier. Especially if you’re like Arthit who isn’t rich and doesn’t have family to fall back on. I lost my old job because I was part of the lgbt community. We aren’t evil for struggling to come out, 99.9% of the time it’s because we don’t know the consequences. We don’t get just pros, we get harsh cons to reality. I really hope more BLs realize this in the future.

@@gracerobinson11 I'm sorry that happened to you. It took until my 40s for me to come out at work, and that was only when my community was in a battle over trans student rights. This is after I've been in my job field for almost 20 years and in my current location for 10. It went fine, but I can't imagine having done so at the beginning of my career, so I really sympathize with Arthit's struggle. A lot of shows portray this struggle too one dimensionally.

You know, with all the awkwardness/self-consciousness of Arthit in public with Kong, Arthit was still the one who came-out to the public both S1 and S2!! My heart still breaks with their chasing around but they still glue it together ❤️❤️😍😍😭😭
What I love about Sotus is that it really feels like a normal relationship. I know that a lot of people don't see that because there isn't a lot of skinship but there is. Every Sotus season you can see the difference in affection as they get closer. In Sotus they are still getting to know eachother so there is still that awkwardness, in Sotus S you start seeing them being comfortable with small touched that would have made Arthit nervous in the beggining (like the hair touching and kissing after they visited the factory) and in Our Skyy we can see how far they have come together as lovers. Kongpob reaching out and spooning Arthit in bed is how we know they are so far from those early days. This is hella long and I'm sorry but I'm very passionate about these couple 😅😂😶

Yeah. It’s probably one of the most well developed relationships I’ve ever seen. Not a ‘love at first sight’ or a ‘predestined love’ (sorry UWMA your a completely different category but I still love you) it stemmed from disobedience and stubbornness, and just plain wanting to care. It was awesome. These two have done such a nice job with it and I don’t think any other actors could have pulled it off as well as they did (sorry....heh. Y’all have your own talents that these to couldn’t pull off) I mean off set Krist and Singto’s friendship is so pure and comfortable that in a way it mimics Kong and Arthit’s relationship. Except platonic. They were nervous when they first met, then they got closer, and now you can see it just by looking at them. It’s truly amazing. The only other Drama I’ve seen that makes the couple so.....life like, like you could see it in any university would probably be Theory of Love. Both of these dramas are masterpieces and truly stand the test of time

Everyone was so angry at Arthit and I get it, but I completely understand him. He’s not rich like Kong. Kong has family to fall back on to help him if he lost his job due to his sexuality. Arthit doesn’t. Arthit is probably the one his family falls back on. He can’t afford to lose his job. He’s probably the most relatable character in any bl series I’ve watched. He’s scared. He needed time to come out on his own terms. As someone who is lgbt and struggling to accept my sexuality as an adult, it’s hard. You get demonized and people are angry at you. Even those in the community. And it’s scary when you don’t have something to fall back on if you lost your job or your family didn’t accept you. He had a lot to figure out. I’m still trying to accept that I am in the lgbt community and tell my mom again. Should he have pushed Kong away so many times? No. But he needed to push back a little to help himself understand how much Kong meant to him. Idk. He’s just relatable to me tho
Exactly, and Arthit isnt that vocal type of a person but makes sure he shows what you mean to him. I still cant get over with the fact that Kongpob question his love. However, i also understand kong, he probably think he always initiated everything. Both of them are really relatable and true to life.
Same here. Watching SOTUS was very hard for me, it gives triggers to me. Arthits character is very relatable. I've learned a lot from the series, and I hope I'll be able to apply it in my life soon.

I'm so proud of Arthit for coming out and telling all his co-workers about him and Kongpob because even coming out to one person is already hard enough, imagine coming out to a bunch of people you see everyday? I'm so proud 🥺
Why settle for less if Kongpob and P'Arthit have shown us what its like being in a long term same sex relationship, the ups and downs, that love isn't always sunshine and rainbow, that sometimes love can also be a raging storm that the next best thing to do is to let the storm pass. The reality they portrayed. Above all, the sincerity of their love. I love how this series shows both point of views making it relatable to all the viewers.
I love how Kongpob loves p'arthit so much but still he managed to set boundaries when he felt like arthit is being unfair, he is matured enough to decide not to hold back arthit if arthit is no longer happy in the relationship.
I love arthit for doing something that is so difficult for him to do because it's out of his character yet he managed to do it just to keep kongpob. And take note, he did it wholeheartedly, it is not something that kongpob demanded from him.
This series is an eye opener. Keeping a long term relationship is difficult. Keeping same sex relationship is difficult. Differences in social status (financial capability) is difficult. A gap in age is difficult. Coming out is difficult. Now imagine you combine all those. Life is really difficult but it is still beautiful and meaningful if shared with someone we truly love.
After watching this clip i realize that this was really the best (for me) BL I've watched
This was years ago but, it still breaks my heart. Now, they have so many accomplishments. I am proud for being one of the peraya fans of this two and also proud of them.
Random rant ahead: I bingewatched the whole show for the first time two weeks ago. Finished it all in two days and after that I watched multiple shows (vacations yay!) but not a single one got me as hooked as sotus or made me feel the way this show did. I still can't figure out what it is about the show and the characters and arthit and kongpob's relationship that has me so attached. But this video reminded me again just how much i love it, and yes I'm crying. It's so beatifully made and really captures the conflicr between them so well. So thank you for this!
Also I feel bad that I didn't watch the show in time to watch season 2 while it aired even though I knew sotus existed, and it kills me that there might not be a season 3, but I hope there is. I'm so attached and I don't want it to end before I atleast watch one season when it airs.

This show really depicts how your behavior differs due to where you come from. Kongpob came from a rich family, so he was just braver about his feelings. That didn’t seem to be the case for Arthit. I really loved his character, coz it was so realistic. It felt that he really needed the job, and so he was not able to come out. However, it was him who had to do it… and Kongpob really respected him and just waited for him to get his courage. He was just upset coz Arthit was hiding his problems from him. But it showed that they really loved each other. Kongpob didn’t force Arthit, and Arthit knew what he needed to do coz he didn’t want to lose Kongpob

And the expression of Krist as Arthit gave justice with that scene. It's like hes saying that "are you questioning my feelings for you?" and that the same time having an internal debate with his inner self. I still can't get over SOTUS and it's been years, I'm loving it more.

Sotus is one of the best bl series I've ever seen they didn't need wild sex scenes to capture us the two actors said so much and made us feel so many emotions through their acting sweet gestures and their chemistry which is through the roof

When Kongpob talked about walking in distance from Arthit, my ♥ literally broke for him. Oh, the pain was too raw in those few episodes. Tears everywhere! When he declared their relationship, I was jumping up and down shouting in joy. The emotions we feel for these characters are too real. This is my most favorite video like this for SOTUS. You made me love this song soooo much... the feels in the song just fits so perfectly- the emotions in the words is so heavy in the heart - but heaviness that just means because its so strong and and so true... i know its seems masochistic but i wish i’ll get to love someone like this - you feel like the love is so strong that you can’t breathe - you’re overwhelmed but at the same time , it makes you feel more alive like being given oxygen and gives you a feeling of content as well. A lot of people hated Arthit after the break up scene and I understand how you feel but it still makes sense. Arthit didn't really have any family he could rely on and go to. If he lost his job for the littlest reason than he couldn't have survived, unlike Kongpob who was rich, Arthit needed that job. He was revealing himself little by little and it's not bad to do that, it takes time to come out and promise me. I'm still in the closet after a long time due to so many things.

Damn it, why my heart broke into uncountable pieces. I just recently watch this series(I'm still watching the second season, sotus s) but I can say that this is the most real and true to life BL drama I watched, acknowledging the Actors who gave their best just to give life to the character they possess in and gave what the fans look for. The story is superb, the location and set gives another flavor to every scenes and the actors are GREAT. For those who still doubting about this series, you must set aside all your doubts and watch this realistic drama, and I can assure you that your time won't wasted. It's a mix of emotions while watching this drama....Enjoy . Also don't forget the THEORY OF LOVE, this series is also breathtaking.

I really loved this series, watched the whole series within 24hrs, one of the best BL Series!!! just finished it yesterday, still has the feels! I'm so glad that the it doesn't become dull as it has 2 seasons. This is yet the only BL Series that made me cry on 2nd episode! And also manages to activate all of my emotions, in just a couple of different scenes. I also like the fact they don't kiss that much, just like my other favorite and personal best BL Series; Addicted Heroine and Dark Blue Kiss. Kinda satisfied already with the ending, but having a new season will always be a yes. I love them both, especially Krist, whahaha!!! #ILoveSotusTheSeries #Peraya #KristSingto 😍😍😍
